Actually asking what weapon u like wouldnt give away anything, nor would favorite paint move or anything. Because it does not spoil any of the story elements of the game.

Well for some like me, I like new objects and moves to be a suprize, I love the feel of when you get something new, so I was being conciderate.

First of all there is nothing wrong with asking you a ritorical question about what your favorite move/ weapon is, Jack just wanted some feedback from you.

Second like Jack said he just told Gothic Princess what Okami is about that is NOT harrasing. So plz get your facts straight before fireing your mouth off. Either that or just read the fine print.

So just PLEASE stop ranting.

Also If I thought that asking other people what they thought of games that most people have never played was wrong I never would have made that game review thread. There's nothing wrong with asking about other peoples opinion about a game.

Hidden in an innocent forum based on a cartoon wolf is a feud. From the average user reading this topic, it looks like a simple spat over a video game. I was one of these people.

My name is Sarah. I am 21 years old. I just moved to the middle of nowhere from the city I grew up in. I guess I live in somewhat of a fantasy world. Balto Source was so perfect for me. It seemed like the perfect fantasy world. I have made many friends here, and many enemies also. Most of these enemies took the time to chat with me and to settle the score.

So how is that relevant to the topic? I guess I should mention at this time that Ecliptica is my best friend. I found myself in many topics about video games stating my case for Playstation 3. I really thought that all of this was over a few menial gaming consoles. Jack was the the target much of the time. I always regarded it as a debate. (I have always loved a good debate and Jack brought me a challenge.) I had great fun with it, and I always had Ecliptica's back.

I went psycho on Jack one day. It was really unfair, but he added me to his MSN to chat. We apologized and worked our stuff out. Ecliptica asked to be patched into the conversation. I told him to play nice.

When patched into the conversation, I found out that the video game battle was not a video game battle at all. The battle I thought I was fighting turned out to be of no importance or relevance. It soon turned into a battle of loyalties and friendships, where boundaries were blurred and cold words flew like stars in the sky.

My loyalties are to Ecliptica. I am and always will be his friend until the end. But could I be friends with him and Jack and Aristole? I am a big girl, I can decide for myself who is worth my time and who is not.

I come across this topic here with a new point of view. I now know that the argument has nothing to do with this video game, it is simply a cleverly disguised feud.

For all of the people reading this topic, I would like to expose the roots of this topic. This is a fight over friendship, love, and loyalty.

Ecliptica and I are very close friends. He protects me and I protect him. In anger we either say things we do not mean or mean things we normally would not. Ecliptica was trying to protect me when he said that Jack was harrassing me. He had my best interests at heart. He does not want me to get hurt, the same way I feel for him.

The doubts are there, but I can tell you that a rumor continued by Boltodude fed them. And it is not like it is Boltodude's fault, he was probably just relaying information exactly as he heard it.

The fantasy has come to an end. What is left are the broken shards of the real world. The circle of trust broken. The lines between fantasy and realtiy, the lines between right and wrong blurred. So what is real? I am probably privvy to much more information than most, so I will not share all of the details. But I gained many friends, lost someone who was like a son to me and I get to watch hearts get broken. Words said have broken up friendships, destroyed relationships.

How can someone have a soul mate when the souls we have are ripped out of us? Are we intentionally destroying other people with our actions? How can our hearts possibly break when they weren't even whole to start with?

But through all of this was someone who wanted my heart protected. Ecliptica. Unselfishly, he protects my heart. Not because he is in love with me, he never was. Because he is the one who knows my life. He knows where I came from to post this here today. Nothing more are we. The love and understanding between us is experience shared and not romantic.

All of this in a little forum based on a family movie.

So go ahead. Ban me for life. Flame me. Do your worst. I really don't care anymore.

Gothic princess I know he's your friend and all but Jack is one of mine. Like you said this innecent topic changed about from a game to a dispute so to say. Jack and I we talk to each other over Xbox Live talking about varieous games. When I began to read this topic it looked normal but then I read on. Then the dispute between Eplictica and Jack started. I contiued to read and the dispute roared on. I didn't want it to contiue but then I got a Pm from Jack asking for my help. What was I going to do just ignore it? Of course I wasn't!

So I came back to this thread and read the most recent post then I hit the reply button. At the time Eplictica was "refusing" to answer ritoracal questions that Jack asked about Okami. Let me assure you that awnsering those questions would have caused little to no harm what so ever but still he refused. I wondered why they were just simple questions.

But when you posted asking what Okami was about and Jack IM'ed you over MSN Eplictica replied that he was Horrasing you. That was when I just lost it. I didn't want any of that to happen and I ddin't want to be a part of it. Well here we are now and that's were we stand.

Jack is my friend and slandering his reputation just isn't right. I'm sorry that this got out of hand.

I do not hold resentment or blame to anyone. Everybody needs friends who will stand up for them.

I understand and sympathize with your anger and frustration. I MSN'd Ecliptica to set things straight that Jack did not harrass me.

I am not angry at you for standing up for a friend. It is what any decent friend would do.

Slandering reputaions is never good. But there are many reputations tarnished and destroyed, and I have sympathy for all of the people affected.

I guess i just felt the need to explain the reasons why the fight was as heated as it was, so that outsiders would not think of us as a bunch of really mean people.

I do agree that refusing to answer harmless rhetorical questions can raise eyebrows. But I guess when the fight wasn't even about that, what can I say?

Your right that would be very wierd for people to see. Also Gothic I wasn't mad at you and i hope I never am. It kinda did switch beween from the ritoracl questions in to just a slander fight didn't it. well I'm just glad it's sorted out.

I did not take anything you said personally. I know that it is not me you are angry with.

We have all done our best to stay out of these fights, but the more our friends get hurt, the more we feel the need to protect them.

I will sleep with a clean concience tonight. As for others involved, I do not know.

When all hope is lost, who do we turn to? And what happens once they are gone?

And seriously who won? Everyone is left broken and empty? That's it? I guess that is what seems to be the end result. How do you even declare a winner? Who wins when we all lose?

Yes, I do know what it is you refer to. And I really wish it was as simple as you say. It really isn't. Yeah, I can be a hard a**ed b**ch, but I know. This is not easy for anyone. The winner is not as clear cut as you would like it to be. And the winner can even change from day to day. I know you are still in shock, and hurting once you can see a bit clearer, you'll figure it out.

You saw the end of my world. You saw me lose my son, my family, my friends, and my home. You saw my heart get broken so badly that I wondered if it would ever be whole again.

Someone just told me something very interesting. You never know when the one you have will become the one you want. Lives change, people grow. Can you grow with them or do you drift apart?

Right now we are all losers, but in the end we may all walk away winners. We don't know. And you will not believe me about this for awhile. So, hate me for knowing, and I will be here when you decide to follow suit.
