The 1st bambi I liked better cuz of their animatetion and back gronds and how the drew the animals.

I like the original better. Bambi 2 was sooo far from the book, I wonder if the filmmakers had read it at all. Ronno was suposed to be grown up.

I'm a fan of Bambi. I do like Bambi 2, but I wouldn't say that #2 is any better than #1 (though I will say that it's one of the best Disney sequels (technically a midquel ) that I've ever seen ^_^).

I enjoy Bambi immensely. I think that it is one of greatest animated films of our time, surpassing even The Lion King. The tale of beauty, innocence and love and shows that in Walt's time, animation was more than just a way to sell merchandise. Compare it to Barnyard and you'll get what I mean.

If I owned the Disney company Bambi II would have never been made. But for what it was, I felt that Bambi II captured the essence of the original without being a total rehash (like the Jungle Book 2). The only real flaw I find in this 'midquel' is that there is too much dialogue.

I love both!

I, too, think that Bambi is one of the greatest animated films ever made. I cannot praise it enough.

By the way, I had no idea there were so many Bambi fans here besides me.

I liked em both, though I was teribly confused when I first saw the first one. I mean, one minute Bambi was a fawn, it was winter, and he was with his dad. The next minute it's spring, Owls being tortured by singing birds, and Bambi's all grown up. Most of my questions where anserwd when the 2nd one came out.(you could've knocked me over with a feather when I first saw the comercial)

Definitely the first. It's my favorite 2D film ever. I like Bambi II, but it's not among my favorites.

It's kind of a hard decision for me... Oh, I can't decide.
