Just one question: You mentioned that Jenna had 'grown friendly to another male...who she planned on making her new mate in due time,' but in the past part, Jenna and her new friend had already gotten quite, shall we say, friendly... It just seems a little awkward to me...

This one's suspense is slowly burning at my soul and is certianly among the best oneshot fics I have ever read since I started reading fanfiction!

I most likely won't continue this after I finish it. I'm working on a way to conclude the story so that there will be no way to want anymore added to the story (but there will be a sense of mystery for some things that will be in the end).

Plus, the surprises in the final part of the epilogue will (hopefully) amaze, I will tell you that much!

Proud of Your Boy is one of the Best fics I've ever read.

All the while I was reading I was listening to 'Proud of Your Boy' by Clay Aiken.

I was really teary eyed during Kodi's memories of Balto. Even when Balto's spirit appeared to Kodi on the mountain peak.

This story is powerful and demonstrative.

Actually, that song (which I haven't heard yet, but I've heard about it!) was the inspiration for the title! I'll find the lyrics and post them in the grand finale perhaps . . .

(And actually, I think the song probably fits both parents instead of just Balto . . . don't you think? Although the story is mainly about Father and Son, there's times when Mother and Son are close too.

[EDIT - 12/12]: I have heard the song now (I rented the SE Aladdin DVD and heard the song . . . it's touching!) and I noticed that it does focus on the mother-son relationship more . . . but I had another song that helped give me inspiration too! I'll post the lyrics for that one too . . . but I'll leave it a surprise for now, okay?)

It's from the Falling Into Infinity record by Dream Theater and I personally LOVE the vibe this song gives off along with the fact it helps bring a little more calm into the atmosphere after a rough or slow day and is very relaxing and easy to listen to..

I've read the entire thing Is amazing I am kind of loving the suspense,but the fic that saddend me the most is rtw's "memoir of a hero" including it's song "my heart will go on".A great song for this fic would be "welcome to the black parade"by my chemical romance.Can't wait for the finale.
