I'm an avid viewer of Family Guy and I watch it all the time! I just love Stewie - although Brian and Peter are at war for second favorite. I love the newer episodes and I think it's a lot better than Futurama. Family Guy is the BEST! My friends and I quote Stewie all the time. One of my favs. is:
Stewie: You two, FIGHT TO THE DEATH!!!
Stewie: BLAST!
Stewie: D**N you all!
Stewie: Hmm...well, let's just see how the scales of justice fare aginst...the DEVICE!!!

To me, Family Guy is more like a drug rather than a used-to-be television show; or in other words: everyone's getting addicted to it! I remember it being just another adulterated cartoon belonging to the greedy paradox known as Fox, and now look at it today...
I don't care for Family Guy too much, but I do find it amusing to pop in one of my dad's Family Guy DVDs every now and then for a laugh

Then you get almost anything you want before it is even released.
My dad also got some of the original Family Guy storyboards as a Christmas present. Its cool.
