Yes, the US DVD's are very bad. We don't have hardly ANY extra features. Maybe a game, but that's it. And the game is pretty lame. (On WoC, it's pretty cool, though)

My humble opinion here is that, if the director has indicated that Universal doesn't see a financial gain in their Balto properties, then they'd probably not even do a boxed set (I guess unless Amblin Entertainment got in on it too...or a MAJOR letter-writing or e-mailing campaign made enough of an impression...maybe even a PEACEFUL gathering outside the studios...lol).
Still, a boxed set with special features (even a special features DISK) would be nice! It could include:
Production notes
Cast and crew interviews
Some of the bonuses not included in the U.S. DVD releases
Full screen and wide screen ratios (as some DVDs come standard with)
Short bios on the different characters
Trivia and historical cross-references
More games (like the kind seen on some of Disney's Special Edition movie releases...like the recent Lady And The Tramp)
Some small featurette on the fan base (perhaps even interviews with key contributors of sites like Balto Source! And, of course, Steet himself. Heh heh...Steet on DVD)
A booklet version of the scripts, with movie art, and/or some collectible figurine or other item

I don't think another petition would do much honestly. I'd go into detail but everyone's said pretty much what I think already heh.
