In most countries it is and most States in the USA but I'm afraid it is legal in some parts of the world and people just take advantage of it, it's so sad that the wolves have to die because of human ignorance.

Yeah and getting worse, over here we have'nt a single wolf left coz people killed 'em all and the government won't allow the release of wild wolves back into the UK because of live stock, what a load of rubbish...

Sorry but can you not see that it is NOTHING we can do? I am sorry but people aren't going to TRY but so hard to save the wolves. It's life.. There is killers, and well, there is many people who love wolves. Those who say most people hate wolves, and all are wrong. o-o; I haven't seen or known a person yet that hates wolves around here.

I'll support the wolves, dogs cats ect but what else can I/us really do?
Supporting these days aren't really going to do anything. =/ Making a website? Alot of people dont have computers to see that...

If we made signs about wolves, tshirts, put notes everywhere in school and tell all friends/family, make alot of things about wolves, and put signs everywhere abo ut wolves, make websites about wolves, go on every site you know and tell them about the wolves, have wolves/save the wolves in your siggy/lookup/and all that stuff in every site, make a topic about wolves in every site you go to, and more.. But whos REALLY going to do all that? If everyone did that then wolves would have a good chance. xD
If someone really did all that, then they must REALLY care about these animals.. But just supporting, making a website, and all isn't going to do it. Trust me. You have to do more then that. =P

Actually there is more can be done than you think, people just need educating about wolves and in a lot of areas all that needs to be done is re-habitation because land has been lost.

Hunters/poachers are'nt the only problems facing wolves, farming, human expansion and decreasing food supply also threatens wolves existence, all that really needs to be done is to drive home the message that when wolves become extinct there is no return, once they're gone they're gone for good.

I wish writing a letter to Tony Blair would work... I kind of doubt it would, though, but I don't know how the British government works.

Canis Lupus is right. And besides, wolves are already an endangered species. And let's not forget the Hokkaido and Honshu wolves of Japan that ARE EXTINCT! And the Egyptian Wolf that is so close to Extinction!
