Aww, you flatter me! I'm the Snow Wolf that Drew knows, yes. ;) She told me about you as well.

And she sent me your Balto 4 trailer, so I've got it here. You have every right to be proud of it... I especially like the main theme, as it's very reminiscent of the main theme in Wings of Change. It has the same epic-storytelling feel to it, not to mention modal minor progressions. Are most of your works for string orchestra? Nice job on the remixes too... I'd love to chat with you and trade songs perhaps. :)

I do lots of remixing, or rather orchestrating, myself... but as I'm a poor student, I do all my work with MIDI and the occasional lame soundfont. I'm very envious that you'll have your neat program... it should be so fun to work with. Maybe one day when I'm 50 I can get some too and redo my works... ;)

hmm... trade Songs, sounds nice ;3. The Theme i wrote is actually 3 years old. As i was 16 i discovered a little MIDI editor called "Logic Fun" on my Computer. 2 weeks later i wrote this Theme down there, it wasn´t really nice at this time, so i lost interrest...

1 Year ago i got enough of 3D Animation, so me and a few others founded a band, but thats Trivially. I buyed a program called "MAGIX Music Maker Deluxe" for 60 €. This program was containing pre-definied Samples, i lost interrest again...

I just wanted to make something, where you can say it´s written by you, so i tried to use the (very well) MIDI Editor editor of the Program. The best thing is that this MIDI Editor has a VSTi (Virtual Instrument, but i think you know what that is ;3) Plug-in called "Sampletank 2 MX". It contains 18 gruesome Instruments. I used the Instrument "String" for all my projects, seriously it´s not the best one, but it sounds much better than the default MIDI Instruments...

I ordered Philharmonik (VSTi) this morning. You must know, i´m a poor Student too, but i got Vacations (). So i made a few (gruesome) Vacation () Jobs to fresh my Money up. I think you´re Further than me in school (i´m just 19) and Composing. I just work Intensely since 1 year so maybe i´m still a newbie in this Francaise...

What do you do exactly? I thought you were a composer, but it sounds like you do something else. Sorry if I am misunderstanding.

Wow, I didn't realize we had several composers on the forums, this is awsome. I want to do some composing, and I've started a couple tunes, but they've kinda halted on progress. It would help if I had a score writter. Any of you know a good and free score writing program?

well if any of you composers are interested I'm going to be producing an audio book/podcast/movie kinda dealio that I would love to have some local help with. I'm looking for some mysterious, naturistic, possibly indian or celtic styles to it but I'm open for all sorts of stuff... maybe lord of the rings feeling. The production is on the book "The Sight" by David Clement-Davies. I had started the production of a film but was unable to get the financial support I desired to produce it, but I have the proper equipment for the audio version and I'm just looking for some staff now. Let me know if you're interested in any way with this project. My email would be the best way to get in touch with me but on here is alright too. Email is [email protected]

Thanks guys, i'll post this in it's own topic on the boards too ;)
