I'm a fan of southern rock like The Outlaws, 38 Special and Molly Hatchet but I hate country western (Cept for that one Lonestar song which I mistook for a power ballad).

Country music uses lots of banjos and violins

I don't like it at all which is a shame as my mother has recently turned into a country fan

Believe it or not, I used to like country months ago. Now I'm into rock, metal and screaming. XD
I have nothing against country. I don't hate it, I just choose to stay away from it and prevent myself from listening to it. Because, quite honestly, the overall messages of country songs just don't contrast to me as well as rock songs do. I prefer to listen to music that I can relate to, and I'm sure that most other people do too.

Personally, I love country. Dolly & Doug Stone are the best, really the only 2 I like. But everyone has their own opinion, & I respect that.

Yes, I like quite a lot of country music. My dad loves it, and it's really grown on me over the years. It's good, regardless of what anyone says.

Would most of you like to... umm... elaborate at all? "I HATE IT!" sounds pretty ignorant.
I love country music. No, not the twangy crap. I like the touching songs about life which don't really sound like traditional country.
