I am not a professionist, but the song you need I guess you can use the ones you want, lol like 50 Cent...Candy Shop if you have it on your computer,Import it..if Not search for it,or ask after it.
And movie, try to find a ripper, ripp the DVD(beware only if you have the dvd)
But if you have it on computer simply import it from your Local Drive.

Why do people make such an easy program seem so complicated? I mean its so basic (what with all the functions nubbed down similar to the dawning age of technology)... just GAH! All there is to do is simply Import media and use click-and-drag technique. Then it gets just the teeniest of difficulty with the enigmatic techniques of adjusting audio and transitions. Ooooh... ...scary.

Not everyone is a computer geek, maybe you should consider this.

It doesn't require a brain to operate MovieMaker...
It sadly seems some people don't even make that standard.

If you own one of the Balto DVD's you have to rip them onto your PC. There's a topic on how to do that here.

Well you could be like me and hard-mod your VCR to record VHS tapes to your computer using CYR cables and a Sony Receiver...
...or else you are out of luck. Unless you want to pirate the movie (but thats illegal- and is considered despicable)

Q:How do you get movies on your computer?
A:When ripping DVDS to your computer you must first have:
1. DVD RIPPER / DVD PLAYER
2. DVD Ripping device
3. DVD DECODING device
Insert your DVD into the DVD drive, if it is a protected film, which most DVDS are. You must use your DVD decoder to decode this. You may find a DVD decoder by searching google. The most common of useage is DVD Shrink.
From here you must rip your DVD into VOBS.
Once the VOBS have been ripped, pick out the VOBS that contain the film, various VOBS will come into the folder, ignore the audio VOBS, you'll be needing the video VOBS.
Select these VOBS for your DVD RIPPER and rip them int AVI's for best quality, once the AVI's are rippped transfer them to Windows Movie Maker or your other editing program and your off, ready to edit.
