Sony is not racking up fans..they are losing them right now. PSP was technically a failure..since..well...their best puzzle game is comming on the xbxo 360 now...and the fact that nothing was really amazing on the PSP (yes i played one)

Wait Dreamcast?! Lol...ummm DS...games....Meteos, Tetris, Kirby's Canvas Curse, Under The Knife (i think its called), Ace Atourney at Law(or something), NEw Super MArio Bros., Nintendogs, and thats just a handful.

Nintendo fans arn't betraying them at all Nintendo's DS systems are letting gamers try a new way to play like with there new Wii system. The PSP doesn't have any new ways to play it's always the same controler format like the PS controlers just in a diffrent design. The only thing new is umds

I see what your saying but I wasn't talking about the DC or psp in general I was talking about the companys, Sony is way higher up but not just because of the games and other systems they put out but all of there equipment like Tv's DVD players and everything else sony has made out matches anything Nintendo has done.

If Nintendo is so great where is there new consul? where is the fight Nintendo is puting up? If they don't relese a system besides hand helds they are going to hit the dust, actully even if they do make another system sony is way ahead making there efforts usless.

But I o admire them for staying as long as they did, but everything has an end and it looks like Nintendo's time is coming.

Nintendo was wicked back in the day when games weren't over killed and other stupid dissions they made weren't made, plus sony is a way bigger and way more powerful then Nintendo will ever be.

ok the truth is Nintendo isn't competeing with either sony or Microsoft but Nintendo is friends with both compenies which so the get the pros from both co's. thats y they sell there systems for so low and one more thing. Nintendo is just a gaming Co. Sony and Microsoft sell Comps, DVD's u name it. All Nintendo focuses on is gaming and gaming alone while Sony and Microsoft have there Co. split in to diffrent departments.

For what do you need all those weirds styles of playing with the DS? its the same stuff... only more difficult to control... and the games are still so sissy...

for mature, and more sophisticated players who like extra functions.. i suggest the psp... more online games, neat internet browser, cool mp3 player.. and games like Socom: fire team bravo.

and even if its the same game of playing in consoles and blablabla... i think players dont really care.. all they care about is fun.. cool games, online capabilities and a long life for their console.

GAmes dont need to be violent to be fun. Plain and Simple. More than half the PSP games are Garbage. Nintendo has been pumping out prime titles. That is why alot of good games get overlooked. People like you saying kids games are bad. Its just a basic biasness in todays generation that for some reason makes us need violence instead of fun. If I had to choose betweemeither the original Mario...or..lets say...Soldier of Fortune...i would choose mario because it was more FUN.

Just so u know, prolyl one of the greatest PSP games is either Lumines or Me and MY Katamari, BOTH rated E. And PSP is taking shots from Nintendo with games, basing them a little more puzzle like and more fun and slightly innovative.

Wait so hang on hang on hang on hang on hang on...what? Eclipsed Wolf what are you talking about? Where is Nintendo's system? Look who's talking! The PS3 is scheduled to come out AFTER the Wii. You can't compare Sony to Nintendo, tis not fair. Sony is an electronics company that has been selling ELECTRONICS far longer than Nintendo has even existed. They've had more time to grow. To say that they will always be bigger is just stating the obvious. Also Nintendo COULD servive just by selling handhelds. Do you even how many people have gameboys? Not to metion DS'. And one more thing Nintendo is HUGE in Japan.

Grey_Wolf...you have absolutely no idea what your talking about. Those crazy styles for playing the DS acctually make it easier. I have a PSP and I could not play Coded Arms very well. Then when I got Metroid Prime Hunters for my DS I mastered it cause it was much EASIER to play. #2 you say the games are sissy...I got news for ya, Metroid Prime ain't a sissy game. If you think it is then you can answer to Samus' Volt Driver. Also if you want to satisfy your blood and gore fix you can always get Trauma Center and do some stiching, that's teaching kids to SAVE people, not kill them. Also your line about sophisticated players doesn't cut it. Blowing people's heads off isn't sophisticated, it's down right savage. Most all of the games for the DS go online, and you can get the functions that you specified on the DS just as well as the PSP, they are merely not built in. Which leaves more room to expand each seperate system. And finally your completely wrong...we gamers DO care about new innovations. We're not Ommish, no offense to Ommish people. We don't JUST care about fun AND...I and any of my friends can have just as much fun playing a game offline as we can online. And my DS has fallen off of a two story balcony on to cement and worked perefectly thank you very much. If you think that way then #1) your not a gamer and #2) you don't know what your talking about. Finally this post is to disscuss the release colors of the DS Lite, not to say how much YOU think it s**ks. Therefore if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all.

Basicly the DS is for kids, the PSP is for teenagers. Thats how it is where I live Kids like all the games Aimed at that audience and Teens like the PSP for the more grown up games like Twisted Metal and GTA.

You obviously don't know how many teens play DS'...

I'm 16 and I have both...cause I like both about the same.
But again this post is to discuss the DS release and it's colors, not weather it is or isn't better or more liked than the PSP...

Well you obviously didnt read my post. I said where I live most teens have the PSP and most kids have the DS.

I answered you did I not? And I just because that's the way it is in your area that doesn't count the rest of the world. You go online regularly, you must have gone to a game rating or tech site of some sort to get your info in previous posts...i suggest you look into how many adults play the DS. Or I can just tell you from experience, they play it just as much if not more than the PSP.

And AGAIN I'd really prefer that we get back on topic with the post. I'll be glad to debate with you why or why not the two handhelds own each other...but not here. Please just stick to what you think about the DSL's colors on release. I'll stop arguing with you guys if you just stay on topic and stop flaming Nintendo. What did Nintendo ever do to you but bring you joy in past years?

im not saying all violent games and fun.... and jack.. oh please dont compare a garbage like soldier of fortune with mario.... if you want a fair comparation.. try using Killzone, Ghost REcon or socom US navy seals.

anyways.. nintendo may have SOME memorable titles.. like supermario series and zelda games... but.. really what we want know its variety... not just 4 or 5 great hits

Only few violent games are actually good...And i hated Killzone.

Nintendo also had alot more thand 4 or 5 great games..most are overlooked.

For Violent games it depends on what you like. I like games where you can shoot people and drive cars, witch is why I like GTA.
