Ok, now I'm almost certain that it was the alcohol that caused it. Thanks for the information Blacky; I'll have to remember to tell that to the doctor's tomorrow when I go for my brain scan. I'm also pretty sure that there's nothing wrong with me. My mother also works in the medical field, and she told me that I actually may have something known as Seizure Disease, where everytime I pass out, I have seizure-like symptoms. She told me that it was nothing major; it's nowhere near as bad as epilepsy (people with Seizure Disease don't twitch as much and they recover from the seizure much easier and quicker) but it should still be handled properly. I guess if I do have Seizure Disease, I guess I never knew since I've never passed out before until now.

Umm, I didn't know that it dehydrates more untill I asked my mom. Maybe somehow YOU knew it before me, but I'm not a mind reader. Tell me, why are you saying; "Duh"? Not everybody knows that rubbing alchohol dehydrates you more, you don't just look at a bottle of it or hear it's name and say; "Yep, it definetly increases dehydration!"
And also, how did you know this? Think about this stuff before you mock someone by saying "DUH".

Also, sorry Kuyahta about the rolling eyes, sometimes I take things a little to personally and then I get really mad and BOOM...

Wow, very sorry to hear that Kari. Had a similar experience a few years back. All I can say is do anything and everything to make sure you're alright. Even if you FEEL alright doesn't mean you are 100%. I have to say to do what they think is best, and go with it. You better get well soon understand.

Whenever I feel a seizure coming on,the thing I do is lay down on my bed or maybe even the floor.

The problem was that I couldn't tell when my seizure was going to happen. It just randomly happened...to me, it felt like I had fallen asleep.
Anyway, I got an MRI earlier, and they still could find nothing wrong with me. I have another appointment in a week with a neurologist, and hopefully they'll be able to make a diagnosis.

There can be so many reasons... Connected with all those symptoms that you experienced even before the seizure. The safest is to "go over too much", since scans and doctors can oversee things. And I know people who didn't... And it turned out they had something really bad. And when finally they were forced to take care of it seriously, it was too late. Either they slowly decreased and decreased or faced the worst right away. You can cut the string too long but not too short.

Whatever you do, if you start feeling dizzy or anything SIT DOWN!!! After the first time I passed out it has kept me from doing it 10 more times. If it's really hot out drink lots of water and eat. BUt trust me, when feeling dizzy, the only way to make it go away is to just sit down and take it easy.

Yes...I know that I don't eat or drink as much as I should. Not only that, but it was really hot that day, which probably contributed to my dehydration. Anyway, thanks for the advice guys. The doctor actually doubted that I would have another seizure; he said that a lot of teenagers who have them never have them again. I don't know if he's right, or if he was being biased, but anyway, I'll be sure to drink more often.

I agree with tibb and Shadow, if you feel dizzy sit down, don't lie down though that can make things worse, also if it's hot don't drink fizzy stuff, drink water preferably if not cordial, I drank fizzy drink when it was hot once and ended up with heat stroke!! (not much fun)

Sit down right away if u feel dizzy! & dont keep quiet bout it say "I DONT FEEL GOOD"..OR.."Im getting dizzy, there's ringing in my ears" ..ect..
If you're going to pass out, you will get a ringing in your ears. Then (I don't know if this happened to you), but once I had regained conciousness, I couldn't really see... There were all these little specks. But yes. Speak up! Make your younger sibling (if you have one) do things for you. Tis what i did.
