I havn't heard a single rock song that sings about how bad their life is.

Bah, my brother loves it, and that's all 'e ever plays in his truck. I don't care for rap, not because of what they sing about, just, how they sing it. Heh, makes little sence, but I'll never enjoy rap. Course I'm one person out of how many again....

i guess u have a point..but i only use words like that because i grew up around people who talk like that...just like if you grew up around people who speek french then u would prolly speak french..but w/e..and if u got rid of it..so many people would hate you..and u wouldnt want that..

i cant really stand to listen to rap for long periods of time. the only rap songs i like are the songs with big bass! turn up the system and rattle the trunk

i don't hate rap,there are some songs i like that are rap,but i just liked punk rock better

Theya re quite upbeat lol...cept pinkfloyd he talks about his life.

I do not like rap. Actually i only like on rapper, and he barley sings rap. He's Sean Paul. I like him and only him. The rest of the rappers just don't think about thier lyrics when they rite them. It is also just ppl talking with music in the background and it can get quite desturbing * no offense to rap lovers but thats my oppinion.  *

Here's another rap song to add to your list, although I don't know if it's considered rap or not, but "In the End" by Linkin Park is what I like to consider "Semi-rap" because it is mostly a rap song, but the group doesn't only do rap songs.

It takes more skill to play a stringed instrument then it does to electronically remix older songs and put certain phrases on loops.
How do I know this? I was a DJ for a radio station at one point in my life...well...an intern of sorts, I know first hand.
I used to think rap was the best "music" there was when I was younger. But after hearing the same thing over and over and over and over, and how they butcher the English language in 92% of the songs, got tiring.
I listen to rock and country BTW.
