Well they did make a sequel to The prince of egypt, which fits exactly that description... (joseph king of dreams)

I was not aware of this

If they will make sequels of movies based on myth and tale and real stories,I think they really have no new ideas for movies,I got very disapointed.

AND I forgot to say that they will release a direct-to-video "spin-off" of Shrek which name is "Puss in boots"...I think you'll see what the story will be about  This one will probably be in 3D though.

Sometimes myth and legend can show more things the real ones, especialy unadorned falth.I love the movies based on them, only someone who is like an adult too much would hate them,I just said sequels of this kind of movie can ruin the original ones.

Even if they did make a Spirit sequel, I most likely wouldn't go see it, because I'm not exactly a big fan of the movie... Plus, it would be, no offense to anybody, exactly like the first - slow-moving, boring, the horses wouldn't talk and the storyline would most likely be that of Spirit and Rain's baby, maybe even babies if it turned out to be twins. But, I admit, the songs and music were great, seeing that Bryan Adams sung the songs with the great Hans Zimmer as the composer. He's also the composer for The Lion King, Shark Tale, and a lot of other films, by the way.
