Mm I think Nightwish coul fit pretty cool 8) Some of you guys may not agree, but.. (yks hailee XD)

Anyway, Nightwish have some beautiful songs, like "Forever yours", that could fit very well on some Balto & Jenna-scene howl.gif Love.gif

(This is my opinion about this ^__^)

Yeah, I especially LOVE Nightwish's Moondance ^_^ But back to the topic, I think "On my way" from Brother Bear fits snugly in there.

Jason Wade's "You Belong To Me" and Rufus Wainwright's "Hallelujah" are both glorious songs, problem is you go to Itunes and find out Jason Wade isn't a registered musician and Wainwright's "Hallelujah" is only available on "The L Word" soundtrack (Not exactly where I first heard the song).
Both songs are on the Shrek 1 soundtrack (I died a little inside when I typed that) but of course, that isn't on Itunes either...

You play "Hallelujah" whenever Balto stares at Jenna, which isn't exactly 3 and a half minutes but who's counting and ""You Belong To Me" when... well... I guess during the end but interupting Steve Winwood's "Reach for the Light" isn't exactly the brightest of ideas. These songs are more in the Inspirational category so basically they're shoe ins to me.

Wait... is the "Hallelujah" song you're talking about the same one that's on the soundtrack for the movie "Shrek"? If so, then I would agree...

I'll tell my own idea when I can think of it...

I think a LOT of Dream Theater's Images & Words record would fit marvolusly..

Another Day and Learning To Live are EXCELLENT candidates for some of the more emotional or depressing parts.. I'm going to post Learning To Live's lyrics here to show why I chose it as a possible fit..

Learning to Live

Written by: John Myung
Music by: Dream Theater
================

( Verse 1)

There was no time for pain
No energy for anger
The sightlessness of hatred slips away
Walking through winter streets alone
He stops and take a breath
With confidence and self-control

I look at the world and see no understanding
I'm waiting to find some sense of strength
I'm begging you from the
bottom of my heart to show
me understanding

I need to live life
Like some people never will
So find me kindness
Find me beauty
Find me truth
When temptation brings me to my knees
And I lay here drained of strength
Show me kindness
Show me beauty
Show me truth

( Chorus X1 )

The way your heart sounds
makes all the difference
It's what decides if you'll endure
the pain that we all feel
The way your heart beats
makes all the difference
In learning to live
Here before me is my soul
I'm learning to live
I won't give up
Till I've no more to give

( Verse 2 )

Listening to the city
Whispering its violence
I set out watching from above
The 90s bring new questions
New solutions to be found
I fell in love to be let down

Once again we dance in the crowd
At times a step away
From a common fear that's all spread out
It won't listen to what you say
Once you're touched you stand alone
To face the bitter fight
Once I reached for love
And now I reach for life

Another chance to lift my life
Free the sensation in my heart
To ride the wings of dreams into changing horizons
It brings inner peace within my mind,
As I'm lifted from where I've spilt my life
I hear an innocent voice
I hear kindness, beauty and truth

( Chorus x1)

The way your heart sounds
makes all the difference
It's what decides if you'll endure
the pain that we all feel
The way your heart beats
makes all the difference
In learning to live
Spread before you is your soul
So forever hold the dreams within our hearts
Through nature's inflexible grace
I'm learning to live

=================
See what I'm talking about with this song.. EXCELLENT!

Also I think certain parts of Six Degrees Of Inner Turbluence fit it really well like Misunderstood and About to Crash

Ew.. no.. not The Beatles. But then nothing as rough as Linkin Park either. The Balto movies need meaningful, soothing songs with meaningful and soothing lyrics.
