First: What you can speak German is very good yet!!! Well!

But a tip: Catadventure confused Eselsohr with Eselsbrücke.
Eselsohr is dogs ear and what he wanted to say is an aid to memory.
Silly is only that both the two German words start with ,Esel' (donkey)

But what I said yet: Your German knowledge is very well yet and I think much better then (as?) my English

But this isn't actual a thread for my use because I don't learn German because I'm German...
I don't wanna say more to this here because this is ,your' thread. :)

Could someone explain me better
Quote:
Nominativ, Akusativ, Dativ and Genitiv

I know them from Latin, but in this example:
Quote:
Tanja nimmt den Apfel dem Dinosaurier des Jungen weg.

Tanja takes the boy's dinosaur's apple.

They seems to me all Genitiv.

Hmm nono... it is right... It seems my explanation should get some more work on that. I will look at that tomorrow (better: in a few hours ;) )

BTW: OHHH my... I hope i hadn't made any mistakes here... The Plural is so hard to explain on some parts... (just because i nearly never think about it ^^

Plural

The Plural is build with –e; -n. If the word ends with “e” we put usually a “n” on it, and if it ends with a consonant we put an “e” there. That’s the regular way. Even here are exceptions... (ohh. I hate exceptions...^^)
Here are some examples:
Tasse (cup) – Tassen (cups)
Flasche (bottle) – Flaschen (bottles)
Tisch (desk) – Tische (desks)
Lampe (lamp) – Lampen (lamps)

Exceptions in the plural – ARGH!!

Here we go: on some words the normal plural is not correct. If the first vowel is an a, o or an u and it ends NOT with a vowel it changes to ä, ö or ü. Here are some Examples:

Buch (book) – Bücher (books)
Baum (tree) – Bäume (trees)
Stadt (town/city) – Städte (towns/cities)
Haus (house) – Häuser (houses)
Glas (glass) – Gläser (glasses)
Hof ([back]yard) – Höfe ([back]yards)

Sometimes you have to add a “er” or just an “r”... I couldn’t figure it out... :( )

I will mark them with a „ch“ for “change” in the vocabulary and I will write the Plural, too.

Now you: (and try to do it yourself... don’t look at the other words ;)... except the ending with er and so on, until I have a better description of that ;) )

The houses are big.
The books are expensive. (expensive = teuer)
The towns are small. (small = klein)
The trees are beautiful.

Oh my... that took me long to figure out... I don’t think often about the grammar ^^ I just speak it ;).
Anyway: TO BE CONTINUED

The houses are big. = Das Häuser sind groß.
The books are expensive. = Das Bücher sind teuer.
The towns are small. = Die Städte sind klein.
The trees are beautiful. = ? Bäume sind schön.

I don't know the article of "Bäume". Are you sure there isn't any general rule to understand what is the right article? I never remember them.

Like Fox said, yet. The plural article is always ,,die''. It doesn't change at f. or m.. (Not like in Italian *g*) It's here like in French. Always Les is in German always ,,die''. Die is here not only the article for f..

Der Baum but DIE Bäume
Die Kette and DIE Ketten

There is an edit-button ;-)

I'm working on the next part... but I will read it 10 times before I post it here... to avoid mistakes like the ones before ;)

So this is the reason because of there are three articles! One for the masculine, one for the feminine and one for the neuter. Is it right?

Hallo, Fox und Fieto. Ich danke dir, Fox, dein Lektionen sind groß! Ich entschied, ich werde erlernen Deutsch. Mein Tante lebt in der Schweiz, in die deutsche Seite, und es kann mir helfen. Euer Sprache ist groß, aber schwierig. So traurig :(, ich werde verbessern mein Deutscher. Ich verspreche. ;)
