Yes, they need a little suspense in there, even if it is only an animated film.

Well, every once and a while, but don't make Balto a huge bloodfest okay? [/quote]
Yes, that's true. But I DO think It would be cool to make an adult's movie about Balto. Just think of the possibilities!

No blood needed; you never see blood (or rarely) in animated movies. I was really surprised when Hoggart had a little blood in the Iron Giant.
The characters can be hurt, broken, without necessarily having blood.

I don't know what you're meaning by D word (I've seen it in french), and I don't know how it was rated. Probably G.

It is PG for the two cuss words in it. There has been blood in several animated films I've seen. Two are Titan A.E. and the Road to Eldorado.

Oh, really? I thought it was a common word...
I didn't see Titan AE, and I don't remember much of the road to eldorado.

Ah, hurt/comfort. XD; A favorite topic of mine. . . .
Yes, I believe Balto definitely should get hurt, though dying would probably be a bad idea. ^__~ I'm normally not fond of character death at all (I also used to not watch ADGTH because I found it so sad), BUT! Sometimes I do make exceptions for noble deaths. Very occasionally, though. I guess I would prefer Star hurt/comfort over Balto hurt/comfort (I am a big Star fan!), but I doubt that would happen and I doubt even more that if it did, it would be serious. **pokes the many times Star was hit as a joke in the first movie.** Heh. . . .
