Quote: just an example, is pratically impossible hear the opening song because the "dubbing narrator" keeps talking all the writings of the opening scene during the music... just horrible...
Oh...So I see that it's exactly the same as the french version...great Actually, in the french version, they try to sing but it sounds really, really awful...You wouldn't say it is the same song in english by hearing that horror.
Well, I would say to summarize that : Universal Home Video didn't make any efforts for this DVD. Even if the film makers made a great film, the division responsible for everything concerning the DVD really didn't care about it.

Did you perceived (i don´t know if it is valid for the freench version too) that they changed from the balto 1 and 2 for the balto 3 the company that made the dvd service for them... (in Balto 1 and 2 was Ritek, and for Balto 3 Deluxe).. I really don´t have a thing to complain about the dvd from Ritek, they are almost perfect, no banding, the captioning are perfectr without errors or gramatic erros (that are very common in Disney DVDs) but this authoring from deluxe... they are getting very close to get the prize of worse dvd of the year...
I Also used to say: I L-oved the Balto 3 Movie but also H-ated the DVD Balto 3...

No, I didn't noticed that. Well, the B1 & 2 DVDs were released at the same time, so they obviously asked the same company to make the dvds. Maybe they changed for the third to reduce costs...That wouldn't surprise me. You can just hope the US one will be different.
BUT, to be honest, the film itself is the most important, and these quality issues don't really bother me, because I really don't notice anything when playing it on my PC. Maybe it's a bit different for the NTSC version.

Thats sad... but can u do anything bout it? these covers are all around europe... infact someone gave me this dvd with the exact cover as a present... its a sad thing that ppl buy these kind of things- but they are cheaper most of the time and the buyers dont care. But the dvd inside is perfect, no bad quality
