It would seem that this is the case. I wonder what else can be done....

One of us could join Universal Studios and have a decision on Balto merchandise. Is it even crazier than making a Balto 4 by ourselves?

XD
How else are they supposed to listen to us? That's what we're trying to figure out right now.

Really? All we did was send them a 55-page long petition. Unless Universal is under a REEEAALLY tight budget, and need to save on postage, I see no reason why they would be mad at us.

I would have to agree with you.
@ SimbasGuard We can still hope to do something in one way or another.

Again, don't forget that the petition never asked for a Balto 4, they completly misunderstood it. I don't blame them for not making a Balto 4, but for not doing anything. And there are so many things they could do that don't cost as much as making a B4. (releasing a pack, or at least reducing the official price of the DVDs, making merchandises which include plushies, t-shirts, soundtracks, video games, releasing a special edition dvd - which is the first thing they should have done before making sequels, etc...)
And about sending new letters, that's too soon. I know we would already annoy them if we would send a new letter right away. Wait at least a few months.

Oh, well, yeah -- of course!! I mean, it'd be nice if Universal actually started another Balto franchise willingly, instead of just to put an end to the crazy fanmail. XD

Thak You Steetboris, And Togo That's what I was trying to say. To Lakoswolf: I don't want to crush Annyone's hope I'm sorry if that's how I came across.
Nah you didn’t crush anyone’s hope (not mine at least). I was just thinking about things we could do to start a movement or something like that. If enough people do something companies listen eventually. (Well companies that know what’s best for them do anyway.)

But considering the big push that they are doing with it (something that Balto never got and never will, even if it would be the solution), it's very unlikely.
When did they announce the stoppage of All Dogs and American Tail Sequels?
I'd rather have 3 decent movies than 12 shotty sequels...

Quote: When did they announce the stoppage of All Dogs and American Tail Sequels? Question Well they didn't make any since at least 6 or 7 years. But I was more talking about not doing anything since then; there's a lot of things they could do other than making sequels. They just don't do anything, to prevent people from forgetting them. Quote: I'd rather have 3 decent movies than 12 shotty sequels... Rolling Eyes
Yes of course, but as for Balto it was either 1 DTV sequel or nothing. And now even making a DTV sequel is too costy for them...So we really couldn't have expected them to make a theatrical sequel with a big budget.
