Rotramel the Writer wrote: frustrating, huh? Very much so. ^__^ Rotramel the Writer wrote: I figured out mine last night... let's just say that those who wanted Drake to get his "just desserts" will be happy with the outcome of this story...
Just keep at it, I broke through it, you will too! LOL Ooh, I can't wait to read it! (Although I kinda am split on Drake though . . . I'm not sure whether he's a true "bad" guy or a "good" guy really. But that's another post and topic . . . ) Good news is that I might have the whole summer (at least until mid-August that is) to devote to my fics! And work . . . YAY. Rotramel the Writer wrote: In the Marine Corps we have a saying... "Pain is weakness leaving the body." (Which is total BS, pain is pain to me) but here's the same thing for writers... "Writers block is simply our minds trying to struggle for an unusual conclusion to a usual problem."
Here's a random quote I just thought of...
"The work of a writer is not coming up with a story, everyone has a story or two inside them. The work of a writer is being able to convey that story in a way that touches the hearts of those who read it using only words to do so."
So true, Rot. I guess my problem is that sometimes I tend to think of more than one solution to a story's problem (hence with "Forgive Me" - that's how the alternate ending came to be), and it gets hard for me to choose which fork in the road to take. But I guess I like taking risks with those types of things (How else do you think the story "Confession" come to be? ^__^).
BTW, you and LWf are good at those random quotes! ^__^ I like those.
Again, thank you so much for your encouragement!

*double-post-double-post-i-like-to-double-post . . . . in-a-good-way*
*sigh*
I know, I know. I should have updated "Forgive Me" or some of my other stories by now, but I have . . . . yet again . . . . started on another quick-fic. This one (which I have entitled Mother's Intuition) focuses on a possible mother-daughter relationship between Jenna and Aleu (because we all know she was Daddy's Little Clone--I mean Princess, right? And the movie mainly focused on her relationship with her dad, so why not show her moments with her mom too?) and plus some bits about Jenna's parents. Yet another Jenna-centric fic. Yay for all you Jenna fans!
This one is almost complete (I've been writing it in my notebook during my breaks at work) so look for it soon! Then, I promise that the next part of "Forgive Me" will be up! Okay?
Yes, I have been working on developing the rest of "Forgive Me," but I'm still under a bit of writer's block on how the dialogue should go for this next part. Hopefully my upcoming pieces that I'm working on finishing will help me break out of this slight slump.
Thank you all for being there, and I'll see you at the next update!

Yays! More quick-fics.
I've recently been inspired to do a couple quick one-shot fics as well, thought I'll have to see if they work out. Mostly because they were inspired by songs, and I ussually try to work the story around the song...which can be tough sometimes.
In short, I know how you feel about quick-fics. You're going about your daily routine when you hear a song, or a bit of conversation, or maybe an idea just pops into your head. From that point on, the idea will likely STAY in your head until you write it down or dismiss it. So, being a writer, which are you more likely to choose?
Isn't it great to write?

I haven't written one in so long (maybe in over 7 - 8 years?), but I'd love to return and show people how a real songfic is done! Now if only I could find the right song . . . . ^__^ Quote: In short, I know how you feel about quick-fics. I've had that to happen a lot (hence my quickie ficcies), but I usually find a time to write them down when I get a break . . . . or I just start writing the foundation of the story and transfer it to my laptop (while adding things on the way). Or I just doodle a little something to remind me what my idea was. Quote: Isn't it great to write?
Oh yes. Writing is so much fun! (As long as you don't get a severe case of writer's block!)
Thanks for everything!
EDIT: Oh yeah, did I also forget to mention my Importance of Animals article series (focused on the spiritual qualities of the animals seen in Wolf Quest)? I'm still working on completing both of them before I post them! If you haven't read it yet, check the first one out (talks about the Raven and Wolf)! ^___^

Thanks. I just finished the epilogue to it, and I'm still writing the second chapter. It should be up by next week if I'm lucky.
I think they had a relationship . . . it just wasn't shown because the focus was Balto and Aleu, not Jenna and Aleu. So why not write about it? I like it so far, and I hope when I post it people will like it too.

I think it's a safe bet that Jenna And Aleu had a relationship. I'm sure Jenna is a wonderful Mother. After all is Jenna And Aleu Weren't close Balto wouldn't have tried to convince Aleu to come Home with Him by Saying: "Your Mother Will be worried sick.", And when Aleu left She wold not have said: "You don't belong Here Papa, You belong Home with My Mother." Nor would She have told Balto: "Tell Mom I finally found My Home." If She and Jenna weren't close. I'll be sure to read Your story when You post It.
Well, they did spend another year together (due to the fact that Aleu wasn't adopted) and Aleu had been in the care of her mother all her life. How could they not have a relationship?
(Besides, about Balto's use of Jenna to get Aleu to come back home was probably so that she wouldn't get the idea that he was the one that wanted her home, for his sake. Jenna, IMO (although her opinion was never mentioned), probably would have wanted what was best for her daughter according to Aleu's decision, not because the parents think it's best. I mean, look what happened because Balto hid the truth about how humans see Aleu as a wolf and not a dog, for example.) <-- rant

SimbasGuard wrote: True although Jenna did say(Although not in Thees exact worlds)that Aleu wasn't safe running wild, And that They had to find Her. I do see what Your saying though. Jenna has an easier time letting go than Balto.(As is obvious by the fact that She talked Balto into putting The Pups up for adoption) More proof of a close relatonship between Jenna and Aleu is the fact that when Aleu didn't come Home Balto assumed that She went to Jenna's.
Ah, that is true. You'll see when the fic is completed! ^__~
Anywho, here's another update:
- My latest fics will be up eventually, due to a power surge on my laptop computer (I can't use the Internet on it from home; I can, however, use wireless, but I have to travel to my college in order to use it (I'm on it now BTW).), so until it's fixed, no new fics for now.
Now the good news:
- The next part of Forgive Me is almost ready!
- New Quick-Fic! (A Kodi teen-angst fic . . . with death. Yay. I'll tease you with this thought: What if WoC never took place? What if the amazing Balto was no more? heheheh. This is a one-shot thing. Alternate storyline, thank goodness!)
- The first part of Mother's Intuition is almost ready!
- More poems! (Possible Haiku set in the works)
- Uh, hopefully, more of my unfinished one-shots will be finished by the end of July!
And that should be it. I will try to get online whenever I can (you'll know when my computer will be fixed: I'll be online a lot!)!
Have a great summer!

Yay! Forgive Me is almost done! Finally!!!
Aaaaag! Angst!? Death?! Not again.
Ooh, yays! More Jenna stories. Rock on.
Yes! More poems! I like those.
And, of course, the one-shots... Those are fun.
I'm working on one now. It seems like it will be remarkably short.

I am back! *everyone should cheer*
Anywho, I have good news!
Forgive Me - Part Five is completed! Expect it up tomorrow! Part Six is almost done, so if I finish it tonight, expect that to be up tomorrow as well!
My other fics are still in the writing process (Change of Heart is almost finished, as is a couple of smaller fics, so if I finish them soon, I'll post them!).
My laptop will be fixed (hopefully!) before the end of August, so expect me to be back and better than ever!
