Radhi began to reply but she also turned to face the sound. She saw Amani walking in. "What are you doing here?" she asked.
Amani looked at the cubs. "I wasn't going to disrupt your fun, I just needed to know where you were."
Radhi thought for a moment. "Queen Amani, how were these pictures created?" she asked.
"They were made using special dyes made by a mandrill called Rafiki. He was good friends with King Mufasa and King Simba."
"Oh, then I guess he can't give us any more then."
"No, I'm afraid not, but I know where he used to live! We could go there and see if there is any left."
"Yeah! Come on guys!"

Tafari ran after Radhi with Kensie behind him the wind blowing in his face. Tafari heard many stories of the mandril Rafiki and his mother Bahati had said that Rafiki was there when Tafari was born.

Kensai sighed and followed the other two. Sometimes he felt like he was being babysat. After a little while he took the opposite direction and watched the other two run off. He liked tafari but he wanted someone to love him like radhi an taji did.

Soon, they arrived at Rafiki's tree. Radhi was exhausted and was so focused on getting more colours that she didn't notice that Kensei was missing. "How do we get up there?" She asked.
"We climb." Replied Amani, then she leapt up and dug her claws deep into the bark and began to climb. Soon, she reached the top. "Get ready to catch!" She shouted down.
Then, all sorts of things came flying out of the tree down to the ground and Radhi and Tafari ran around quickly trying not to break anything. "Come on Kensei, you can help too! Kensei?" There was no reply. Radhi stopped what she was doing and started searching. "Queen Amani! Kensei's gone!" She roared.

Kensai sighed and looked around now noticing the others were gone. He looked around confused and lost. He had no idea where he was.

Tafari gasped ''I can go and look for him Queen Amani.'' As soon as Tafari said that and after Radhi roared Rafiki popped his head out of the tree Tafari yelped and ran to hide behind Queen Amani.

Radhi jumped. "Who are you and why are you in Rafiki's tree?" She said, bravely.
"He he he. I am Rafiki." Rafiki replied in a low, growling voice as if it hadn't been used for a while. He cleared his throat. "You have full right to be confused, young Radhi, for you have been told that I died. It isn't true. I retired and came to live in my tree, un disturbed, but now, I am very very old and ready to teach all I know to you cubs."
Amani looked up at the ancient mandrill. "We were wondering about the paint you gave Kabili and whether we could make some more"
"He he he. That I can certainly do for you." He reached for his stick and slowly came down from the tree. "But first, did I hear you say you were missing a cub? You, young Tafari, can lead the way. I can see a strong, brave lion in your heart."

He chuckled at the young lion, and gently pushed him off. "How about we learn the basics? This isn't hunting after all," he pointed out. "The first thing you need to know is the swipe. It's the main part of fighting, and used often," he said. I lifted his front left leg and un-shealthed his claws, then swiped hard and fast at the air, making a whooshing sound. "Think you can try that?" he asked, looking to the small cub as he set his paw back down.

Taji raised his paw just like Moto did and unsheathed his claws. It was a weird sensation as he very rarely let them show. Then, determinedly, Taji brought his paw higher then swiped so the whooshing sound was heard. However, he did it with so much force that he toppled over. "Oops." He said sheepishly.

Rakhi slowly walked along with her granny. It was her first day here, in the pridelands. She couldn't really believe this. She waited so long to come here. And hoped to see some cubs.

Tafari puffed out his chest ''Thankyou Mr. Rafiki.'' Tafari said he was starting to like the mandrel Rafiki and began to lead the way back with Tafari in the lead,Radhi after him and Queen Amani and Rafiki close behind.

Amani could see how much Tafari liked to lead. He would make a great pair for Radhi, she thought, but then thought better of it. Betrothals weren't allowed in the Pridelands any more.
Radhi followed quickly after Tafari and Rafiki. She kept looking at the pink flower that she kept behind her ear. It was drooping slightly and it made her sad. She'd have to pick another soon.
Suddenly, Amani stopped walking and told the others to be quiet. She had thought she had heard voices. Amani stood up straight and tall and looked around. Then she noticed an elderly lioness with a cub. She called them over.
"Hello, I'm Amani, Queen of these lands. What calls you to our Pride?"
