After Koda had eaten he went over and lay in a sheltered spot out of the wind.

Loka lay next to Cheyhaivo and Willow.

Keehl licked away at the deer blood on Louis' muzzle until she was clean. Afterwards, he licked his own muzzle clean and went down to the riverbed for a quick drink, then came back and brushed his tail under his mate's chin before curling around her and continuously licking her shoulders.

Whisper looked down at her paw and seeing them bloody she decided to clean them.

Rose looked around to see if there was any food near by.

Choker left the bird's corpse on the snowy ground surrounded by feathers. The dingy grey wolf continued on and came to a small riverside and spotted a large, black wolf. She didn't bother him, for she wouldn't care what he would have to say.


Nigel left the territory and came to a small river side. The beta male plopped down and had his paws dangling above the water. He placed his head on his forearms and huffed. Scarlet doesn't deserve the rank she has now, he thought, she should be stripped of her rank. And Cheyanne is not a bitch, he thought, a growl forming in the depths of his throat, I love her and I don't care who thinks otherwise. Nigel was so lost in his thoughts that he didn't even notice the dingy colored wolf on the other side of the river.

Talute stayed by himself, he only came out when his pack needed him or there was food. But he liked being by himself, he never had to worry about anything too serious. He had shared his mourning for Sledge when she died, but after that he went back to his box and slept. He was old, a whopping seven years and no one knew how much longer the old feller would live. He was wise, playful, but also serious at times.

Louis tried her best not to giggle when her mate's tail brushed her chin, which she managed quite well. Not a single peep. She then noticed the sudden warmth of her mate's tongue on her shoulders.

Cheyanne let out a cold sigh and trotted back to the den, picking out a good spot just across from Louis and Keehl. She huffed and curled into a ball, sticking her nose under her tail. "Where's Nigel?" Cheyanne heard Louis ask. Cheyanne shrugged. "I don't know. He left. But he should be back," she said. I hope, the black wolf thought.

Koda heard the higher ranking wolves asking where Nigel was at so he walked over. "I will go and find him."

Loka watched Talute leave. He needs someone to guard him so that he can sleep in piece and not worry about die alone. She followed him because she also wanted his wise words when she would need it.

Talute opened his eyes and saw the shaggy dog sitting by his box. "Loka?" he asked lifted his head and looking to the dog. "What do you need?" the old dog moved a little, changing his position.


Cheyanne didn't bother to tell Koda no. She just watched as Louis nodded and told him to go ahead. "Go, Koda. We need him back." Cheyanne heard her say.


Nigel sighed and continued to look off into space, thinking about Scarlet's selfishness and how she called Cheyanne a bitch. Nigel's brow furrowed, and he huffed again.

His name is Max if you really must know. No big story behind it or anything, just the name his parents chose.Though, by his lesser pack mates he prefers to be called Alpha rather than his name.

Yes yes Max you are the Alpha. Clearly he is proud of his rank and thinks highly of himself. Can you blame him?

He has no crush, and he probably won't anytime soon, he doesn't believe in love.

Mate:
"You really don't get this yet?"
He doesn't have a mate, nor does he want a mate. Good luck getting through to his dark heart.

Pups:
"All I have to say to you is wow..."
Pups aren't in the picture, he has a strong dislike for the little beasts.

Personality:
"You're not very bright are you?"
Max is vicious and cruel. He dislikes the company of others, enjoying to be alone in the silence of the shadows where he lurks. He is fine calling the moon his only companion. To his enemies he is ruthless, and he has no friends to name. If he did then they would retain his loyalty until the end of his days. As things stand now his loyalty belongs to the pack, and though he isn't the nice guy he isn't insane, and he wouldn't harm a pack member without good reason. Like everybody he has his good days and his bad days. On his good days you may try to approach, but on his bad days stay away. He never regrets any damage he does.

History:
"You better tread carefully now."
It was clear the moment he was born that he was going to be different from the rest of his family. The black sheep if you will. He was the largest in the litter, and his coat was the darkest. Most of his siblings were covered in ashen fur rather than the pure obsidian that covered him. He had a little sister who was a white as snow, and what an angel she was. The favorite of the rest of his family. Even he loved her, though he remained neutral towards his brothers and his parents. As they grew his eyes became a bold ember while hers became the purest sapphire. He protected her from danger fearlessly, but what he couldn't protect her from was fate. She was taken from him, into death's cold embrace early in life. Only a year old. The fire that claimed the rest of his family also claimed her, he had pulled her out, but the burns she had were too great, and she perished. He sat in vigil that night next to her body, a howl of sorrow the only noise to escape him. The fire wasn't his fault, but he blamed himself. He saw it, but didn't get back in time to warn his family. His sister died because of him. He would never forgive himself for letting her die.

After that day he proceeded to travel alone, his road becoming darker. He was never a kind hearted soul, but he had at least expressed some care towards one wolf. After that day his heart went completely black and all he felt was hatred. He pushed others away, and killed without reason. It's safe to say he lost his mind, what little sanity he had at the time. He traveled for years without a purpose in mind other than making others as miserable as he was. Misery loves company after all, though this was a very twisted form of that saying. He liked the idea of others being miserable with him, but he liked to be alone. It was safe to say his mind was in an unstable place while he traveled. By the time he was four he was just a shell of darkness and hatred. He found this pack he figured he might as well join, he had nothing better to do. He ended up being named beta, and feels as though he has found his purpose in life. To protect and serve this pack.

Unfortunately the previous alpha was shot by hunters, leaving Max as the next in line as the alpha had no mate or heirs to the thrown. Max took over with an unsteady head on his shoulders. He knows he's not really ready for such a job, but what can he do? He doesn't know what else to do other than try. He wanted to be alpha after all, he just wasn't expecting it to happen so quickly. Well no he stands as your alpha, and he expects to be shown the utmost respect. If you cross him you will face the consequences, so you better be prepared because they won't be pretty. He has no friends and he doesn't want any so if you think you will get any kind of special treatment you are wrong. You won't, so don't even bother trying. Just stay under his radar and you will be fine. Maybe.

Keehl nodded, agreeing with Louis. Nigel was an important asset to the pack, and would indeed be needed. Besides, in Keehl's pack, every wolf is important, and a family.

Turning his attention back to his mate, Keehl put his nose up to Louis' ear and chuckled lightly.

"You know, I'm sending you all kinds of hints, but you don't seem to be getting the message, my love." Keehl said mischievously, licking Louis' nose, then her cheek, then her forehead, then her ear, then looked her in the eyes while pressing his nose to hers with a smirk on his face.

I just created a new pack, the Blood Shed pack, the alpha male is Max (see profile in my last post with link to a fanfiction) pack members will be needed, plus, the more characters the longer your posts will be. Louis lowered her ears and if she could, she would blush. "Where should we go..... I mean.. Our pack is right here..." she stuttered, a little embarrassed.



The alpha had awakened far before the sun started to rise, his spirit restless through the night. Sleep didn't ever come easily to him, but it seemed somehow worse that night. He walked out of his den, the sky lit faintly with orange, pink, and even purple. The sun was barely starting to show at the horizon, little golden rays shooting into the sky. In just a short while the entire sun would be visible. Max snorted at this, his breath turning into a small cloud in the chill of the morning air. Luckily he had a thick pelt that kept him plenty warm as he ventured out into the camp, looking at all the dens. The rest of the pack should be waking soon, those who didn't would face the consequences. Too much needed to be done, there would be no sleeping in today.

Ears pinned flat to his skull, ebonite hued bodice lumbered back over to sit right outside of his den and wait. The sun rose up in front of him slowly, changing the colors of the sky around it as the giant ball of fire steadily climbed higher. Something built up inside of him looking for an outlet to burst from. He knew thus feeling well, it happened each morning and each night. He tossed his cranium back, jaws parting to allow the howl to rip through. Lungs expanded and then contracted pushing the air out and creating a deep sound that slowly crescendo-ed into his morning howl. A tribute to the sun for rising another day, come night he would pay a tribute to the moon as well.

"I am aware of the pack's presence, love." Keehl laughed. "That is why I am not speaking loudly enough for them to hear. And I know a place by the lake." Keehl winked charmingly.

Announcement

Louis was sure she was blushing now. Full force. But she didn't back down from his offer, either.


Nigel caught a glimpse of Choker's tail, but it quickly disappeared behind the pines. Nigel didn't worry about it, for it was going the opposite direction of the West Wood Lake territory.

Max sneered and looked at all the smaller dens below. The other wolves in the pack had made their own dens since Max disliked the company of others. They were lucky he accepted them as a pack.

Cheyanne closed her eyes and drifted off into sleep, dreaming of Nigel.

Talute waited for Loka to answer him. "Loka.. What do you need?" he repeated.

Keehl took Louis about a mile and a half into the forest, where there was a vast crystal-clear lake with a giant, gorgeous waterfall to top it all off.

It was just the two of them now, with plenty of privacy. Keehl once again gazed at Louis and gave her a mischievous male smirk.

Keehl: Did you read both announcements? Also, did you see my sig. Aren't they soooooooo cute?!


Louis lowered her ears again. She sat down waiting for Keehl to say something. She didn't just want to jump in.


Nigel decided to drink some of the cold water before going back to the territory. So, he did. The black wolf lapped up the cold water then turned and faced towards the territory. No, he thought, I'll stay here a little longer.

Yes, I read your announcements, I just need time to come up with a new profile for the Blood Shed pack. I also read your PM, and I have made a trade offer on the site for Zasshu. And one more thing, I believe we've been through this before Chey - just call me Marshall. That is, after all, my name. (:

Keehl cocked his head to the side, one ear flattened, one ear up. Then it hit him.

"Oh, forgive me, Louis. I never did really ask for your consent, did I? How terribly rude of me."

Keehl scooted closer to her.

"You are strikingly beautiful, Louis. Truly gorgeous. I truly do love you dearly. I would love to start a family with you, love, but only if you are alright with that. If not, just tell me. I will understand."

Also, I replied to Nava's Rival Pack, as well as The Sweet Life. (:

Oh yeah huh?! Lol i completely forgot. I accepted your trade for Marshall. Wait, does that mean I own you now? LOL Nah

Louis nodded. *fade to black*

Nigel fell asleep by the riverside, forgetting all about Scarlet.

Do you want to own me? Am I that irresistible? Why, I'm flattered. *wink* LOL. I just randomly named him that.

The next morning, just as the sun was rising, Keehl awoke to the sight of Louis sleeping soundly next to him back home in their den, and he smiled. He got up, stretched out his body and paws, and stretching his toes apart as well, then left the den for a few brief moments to dig up an untouched racoon carcass he had buried the night before, then brought it back to the den and lied back down and curled around his mate once more, gently nosing her awake.

"Louis..." he said. "I've brought us breakfast." he smiled at her warmly.

Johnny woke up shortly after sunrise to the sound of Max's howling. He yawned, his tongue lolling out of his mouth, then stood up and stretch. He shook out all the dirt from his solid black pelt, then exited the small den that he had dug in the ground.
