Snowflake started getting a little angry by Teslin's words.Her anger drove her to run faster.Snowflake ran faster and faster until they reached the finish line.

"You guys.HURRY UP!"she said her anger driving her crazy making her run faster faster faster and faster.

"Whoa there! I was just joking around. Why do you sound angry?" He looked back at her. He tried to speed up some more, pushing himself to the limit.

Snowflake stayed absolutely quiet."Just HURRY UP!"she shouted running faster until they reached the finish line.

Cheyhaivo,Teslin,and snowflake finally reached the finish line and won against the other team."Well at least we made it."she said with a strange expression on her face.

Cheyhaivo almost fell on the ground panting. "Whoa do you here that?" One the right side of Cheyhaivo, ten feet away, Willow's owner was hitting, kicking, and beating Willow. Cheyhaivo jumped and ran in circular patterns, and twisting the cables. Steve unhooked the cables from Cheyhaivo's harness. "Stay right here boy." Steve batted the ground. Cheyhaivo barked and ran towards Willow's owner and torw at his pant leg. "Son of a bitch!" Cheyhaivo snarled. Cheyhaivo chewed Willow's cable before Cheyhaivo's owner stopped Willow's owner. "Don't hurt the dog, I'll buy her from you. "Steve grabbed Cheyhaivo. "Buy? You can have the stupid dog." He kicked Willow then Steve grabbed Willow and lead her to the sled. "Thanks for helping me, Cheyhaivo. "Willow smiled and jumped onto the bow of the sled. Cheyhaivo smiled and turned to his team."Snowflake, Teslin was joking around with me. I don't want you two to fight, nor run faster over your anger." Cheyhaivo barked then smiled again. "Oh, also, we have to go pick up another dog. I hear he's single. "Cheyhaivo cocked and eyebrow at Snowflake.

"No worries." Teslin said to Snowflake. He rubbed her head with his paw again. He liked Snowflake as a friend. They have always had a good bond. "Now, what do you say all of us go chow down on some stew before we do our next run?" He asked them all. "Come join us Willow." He pointed his muzzle towards the stew bowls. "Don't worry snowflake. I'll tell you when I mean it, okay?"

"Oh, no thank you. I'll stay up here ." Willow smiled. "Mush!" Steve yelled. Cheyhaivo started for the log house. "Home sweet home, Willow." Cheyhaivo smiled at her. Steve unhooked the cables and let the door open for the dogs. Willow followed. This was her new home. "Nice digs." Willow barked. Steve got five bowls out and set them on the counter. He used a metal spoon and put about three scoops of stew for each of the dogs, and four scoops for himself. He put the four bowls on the hardwood floor Cheyhaivo, Teslin, Willow, and Snowflake began to eat. Cheyhaivo looked out a window when he was done eating, and sighed. "Its getting too dark to go anywhere else." He whined.

"Well, at least we get a little time to rest before we get started." Teslin tried to stay positive. "Well, I better finish my Stew before Steve takes it." Teslin said. He ate his stew. He finished just in time, because Steve was just coming over to collect the dishes. "Alright, I'm gonna rest for a bit. See ya in a few minutes." And he closed his eyes.

All four of them slept in front of the fireplace. And Steve settled down in the living room.

Morning came, and Teslin woke up. "Ah, What a beautiful day, he said as he looked out the window across the room. "I wonder when we'll get going. I can't wait to run!" He thought of waking the others, but decided not to. They deserved to sleep in. So, he just watched out the window, looking at the birds and the snow.

Next to wake up was Cheyhaivo. He scooted by Teslin for a look. "Nice day today. Eh Teslin? " He laughed when he remembered what they had to do that day."You know, something tells me I can't wait to go pick up that new dog." Cheyhaivo laughed some more. "I hear he's a lot you. Kind, gentle, and has a good sense of humor. " Cheyhaivo got down from the window. Willow and Snowflake woke up right after Cheyhaivo went to Steve's room. It was warm in there. Cheyhaivo put his head on the bed and whined. "Huh? Oh, hey boy." Steve whipped his eyes and sat up while Cheyhaivo wagged his tail against the floor making a thumping sound.

Snowflake woke up and stretched."Like the place willow?"she said yawning.Snowflake walked over to Cheyhaivo."What new dog?"she laughed.
