Without a Doubt the whole American Dragon thing on Disney. I walked in on my ssiter watching it one day and she told me I had to see this cause of how stupid it was. Now I was amazed, cause she doesn't call any show stupid, but even she made an exception there. That show is terrible! So are most shows these days, they are just mass produced so that they can pump stuff out on the toy market and such.

However A few shows make the exception....Long live Invader Zim which is THE best show ever made lol

Yea American Dragon is a definite waste of television run-time. They made dragons look stupid, and it got me all steaming.

The worst cartoon I've ever seen is Code Name: Kids Next Door. Some of the eppies I've seen so far are like are like so unbelievably stupid beyond all that can be and that show plays like 6-9 times a day on Cartoon Network. I remember one episode they make a parody of that short from The Animatrix called The Second Renaissance Pt1 & 2.

but I like teenage mutant ninja turtles. The story is good. I like the charactors espacialy the mutant rat (can't remember his name. he is the master of the ninja turtles.). at the very least it is BETTER the ed,edd, and eddy anyway.

Yeah, lay off Teh Ninja Turtles!! Betcha didn't know the voice of Michaelangelo is played my Jim Cummings, who also voices Steele!! That's right!!

And if you want to know the rat's name, you'll have to watch the real-life movies. Y'know, the onle that come out, like 10 years ago...almost in the exact same Balto came out!! But the tutles merely refer to him as "Sencé".

Ed Edd and Eddy I've seen a few times... it gets quite boring. I don't think its terrible or anything but it never really clicked for me.

I'm so tempted to mention 2 Stupid Dogs in this thread simply because the title is so appropriate! But actually I enjoyed that series. Apart from that guy who would always yell "But its WRONG" every episode.... It got old fast.

hehehe, I saw a preview for that. And I was horrified at it. It made me never want to see any more anime ever again.

I believe that particular anime is intended to be irreverent and 'silly' for laughs, by being 'ridiculous' and not serious. It sounds like that one is on the extreme end though. Anyone seen Ren and Stimpy though? Alot of the humour in that was kind of surreal but it was a good show. I haven't seen that anime though so I can't vouch for it and it may be that if I were to watch it wouldn't be to my liking either.

But there is other anime I like that is rather random and entertaining (like Child's Toy aka Kodomo no Omocha or Hale Nochi Guu... its rather surreal or silly humour but can be fun, rather like old slapstick comedies can be). I think its fun if the subject matter is to your liking at least (kind of like Monty Python (not anime)... killer sheep living in mouseholes and the like!). But it really depends on the subject matter, if its so extreme you can't get past it then its not gonna be your thing.

But I wouldn't let that put you off anime, as that rules out any animation from Japan. Its just a small sample of what Japanese animation has to offer. I would not for example be able to compare that series with Kino's Journey which is more philosophical. Theres a lot of variety. A good starter to more serious anime would probably be Studio Ghibli's films funded by Disney (and therefore more easily accessed), award winning films like Spritied Away (and The Cat's Return etc.)

Well, I don't like over-expressive anime. Half the people there don't even look like humans!!

Ed, Edd and Eddy is actually funny i watch it every now and then. but one show i don't think has come up yes is that animated version of Star Wars
completely pointless. There are 6 movies out. I think thats enough.

So does their voice. If anyone needs any proof that there is, indeed, life on Mars, they are undoubtedly it.
