Alison made a face, "Ally?" she couldn't help questioning quietly to herself before she navigated the gate and trotted her mare over, "What do you need me to do?" she asked, she had dealt with unbroken horses before, but never a wild mustang.

Kit looked at her, "Okay, all I need you to do is open the gate nice and wide. Then go to the barn and open a free stall away from the other horses." He said and fought against Aztec's pulling with a few jerks. Kit watched, Comet rearing up too.

"Right." Alison said and rode her mare to the gate, swinging it open and cantering the mare to the barn, opening a stall, putting her mare away and ran out to the gate again so she could close it behind him.

Kit fought Aztec past the gate, keeping a very tight hold on him. Kit finally got him by the ear and pulled him along that way. He learned that from his uncle and the mules. Aztec whinnied over and over, following him. Kit let Comet slow down just a bit.

Alison walked around him, giving him a wide berth and opened the stall door, holding it ajar as she watched them approach curiously. She smiled at the way he was leading the big mustang, it was amusing.

Kit knew it was risky to do this but he jumped off Comet, still holding Aztec by the ear. He pushed him in the stall and grabbed the door quickly, shutting it and latching it. Kit dusted his hands and flashed her a smile, "That's how it's done." He said, grinning now. Aztec snorted at him.

Alison nodded and grinned back, "Yeah, thanks cowboy." she said and looked at the stallion. She took a step towards the stall in interest. He was beautiful.

Kit smiled, "No problem. But I wouldn't get to close to him yet. Not till we get him his rabies shot and vaccinated for other things too." He said, Comet not liking this stallion already. Aztec bit at Kit but Comet nipped him one good time on the cheek. Kit looked at Comet, "Good boy." He grinned, pulling them away from each other.

Alison nodded, keeping her distance, she knew horses and wasn't stupid, but he was just being kind so she didn't let it get to her, she noticed her mare had walked to her side and she smiled, happy that the young racehorse had stuck to her side. She hadn't had any doubts, but she couldn't help but to be proud.

Kit stroked Comet and gave him an apple. "You've deserved some pasture time boy." He said and untacked the beautiful horse. Leading him out to the lush pasture. "Okay, have fun." He said and let him go in. Comet grazed for a few minutes before returning to the gate. Wanting to be ridden.

Alison watched silently, her eyes on the mustang, she smiled already thinking of the possibilities. She sighed happily and walked down the barn aisle, her horse following close behind. She let her young mare out into pasture, letting her play with all the other mares.

Kit stretched some, rubbing his left shoulder. The one he had fallen on not that long ago. That horse was strong and fast. Which would make for a great horse in some competitions of any sort. Kit smiled some, exhausted he plopped down on a bail of hay in the barn, leaning up against the wall and relaxing.

Alison smiled and walked back to the barn, she spotted the cowboy and resolved to go over and talk to him. It was hot outside and there wasn't really anything to do. She approached him, "Thanks for helping me with that..." she said.

Kit yawned and glanced over at her, "Your welcome." He said and grinned, pushing his hat down a little bit. Aztec was snorting and whinnying, like he was trying to curse at Kit in horse language. Kit found it amusing to think of it. He chuckled.

Kariuto trotted to the fence, her head held high, she whinnied softly, gazing at Alison. She was bored and wanted to get in the shade of the barn where it was cool. Alison smiled, "I'll be right back." Alison said and went to get her mare.
