Griffin had smirked, but he'd readied himself to kiss her back. After she walked away. He blinked and watched her go, listining to murrmurs from people who had witnessed Nessa nearly kiss him. A few boys nodded encouragment or voiced a 'Go get her, Griff' the boy smirked and followed. "Hold on, get over myself?!" He asked trying not to grin. She was walking too fast. "You tried to kiss me!" He challenged. But sensing he wouldn't get anywhere, he gently grabbed her arm pulling her back into him before gently pinning her to to wall and putting his face close to hers. "You can't resist me either.." he cooed winking at her.

OOC: Sorry for the short, late posts.
BIC: Beck looked towards the two called Dev and Sophie. She almost didn't hear Leo's question. "Umm... can I have a soda, please?" She smiled flirtatiously. Beck was a major flirt and she couldn't help it. It was just her personality. She winked at Leo. 'I wonder if he's single. Probably not the good time to ask him right now, but I'll find out later.' She thought. She smiled as Leo got her her drink.

Dev nearly let out a slight grin hearing her stammer, it was cute, but he kept his cool and held it together. He noticed every move she made, the stiffness she felt from falling, the embarrassment from everyone seeing her fall, the shyness she had when she was around him, the attempt to fix her already perfect hair, Dev was mesmerized. Without breaking eye contact, he helped her up to her feet, and glanced down at her wrist as she flinched. He gently placed his hand over hers, ignoring the alarmed whispers that came from his friends, some girls, and other people around him. "You're hurt," he said, making it sound like both a statement and a question all in one. Suddenly the music blasted even louder and everyone cheered as the dancing revved up to full speed. Dev felt someone slam into his back, a big guy who decided that it was okay to throw all his weight around. Dev was big himself, but skinnier, so he flew forward, almost slamming in to Sophie. He adjusted his weight quickly and absorbed the small girl against his chest, gently knocking her against a nearby wall. "Sorry," he mumbled, finally dropping his gaze to his feet, embarrassed for running in to her. But they were standing very close now, it was hard not to because of all the moving bodies in the room, and for some reason Dev "accidentally" forgot to let go of her wrist.

Nessa glared up at Griffin with a new spark in her green irises. She hated the feeling of being trapped especaily between a wall and fit guy. "You don't have to resist something you're not attracted to," she said rather quickly, her eyes not breaking contact with his but searching out of the corner of her eye for an escape. Her pusle raced with a new sense of fear that she could not over-power him. "Now if you would please let me go," she demanded, though her voice caught a bit to reveal just a glance at her fearful mind. -~- "Oh," Sophie gasped as a large student run into Dev and caused him to tumbled into a wall, taking her with him. Her face split into a grin when she found herself tucked against Dev's chest, his body protecting her from the suddenly rawdy crowd. "It's alright," she said, breathless enough that her chuckle made no sound. "And I'm fine. Just a bruise, I think." Sophie glanced down at her wrist and her eyes lit up even brighter when she noticed Dev's hand still circled around her wrist and uninjured hand. She didn't dare move in fear he would take away that comforting warmth.

Griffin thought a moment trying to decide his next move. It would have to be something like a grand finale-something that would surely set off his firey blonde companion. He caught the hint of fear in her voice and didn't like it. That wasn't his intent-to frighten her. So when he was asked, Griffin politely stepped aside, glancing around at a few expectant faces, whom had witnessed Nessa nearly kissing the young heartache. And so then, Griffin had his finale: when a few more turned to glance aty them and before Nessa could walk away Griffin had already wrapped his arm around her, pulled her close and planted a kiss on her lips. Griffin was a smooth criminal though, almost as soon as he'd commited his crime, he grinned slyly at Nessa before darting, and slipping into the crowd of people.

Nessa held in a frustrated scream as Griffin disappeared into the crowd. She was nearly shaking with the urge to punch him straight in the face, though a really tiny part of her mind wanted to push him against a wall and show how to really kiss. Pushing that disturbing part away, Nessa glanced around at all the bewildered, and some jealous, stares she was now reveiving. Almost as an after thought, she whipped her mouth on the back of her hand as if trying to erase the feeling of Griffin's lips on hers. No one in the party seemed to know what to do, including Nessa. Griffin never showed such public displays of affection, and yet he had kissed her full on the lips in the middle of a giant party. Feeling more and more humilated as the students just kept staring in awe, Nessa finally break out of her thoughts and marched after Griffin as fast as she could. With the crowd memontarily at a stand still, it wasn't too hard for her make her way behind him. Then, to many looks of shock and horror, Nessa roughly pushed Griffin's back as hard as she could, hopefully managing to make him at least stumble. "Don't you ever touch me again, Thompson," she yelled for all to here. One boy in the crowd muttered, "That"s hot," to which Nessa classily responded, "F*** off, loser."

Griffin was like a wall, all her push really did was cause him to take a few extra steps, before turning to smirk flirtatiously at the blonde. "That's my girl!" Griffin winked. He couldn't help it, infuriating Vanessa, it was too much fun. And that may have been the reason Griffin liked her so much: he'd fallen hard for the short tempered blonde, but to everyone else it just looked like an obnoxioxious friendship. Or even arch enemies. Griffin turned and walked back to her. "Alright, alright, I know all about chivelry and such." He leaned down so they where face to face, and me made sure to keep his eyes of blue locked with her green hues. "C'mon, I know you wanna... Hit me..." He smiled, his blue eyes shimmering with an unknown emotion. "Honest, do it, don't hold back." Griffin wasn't kidding either, he was really ready for her to hit him, and he wouldn't mind.
Ooc: okay lol I'll stop til everyone gets to reply: Griff & Vanessa are just so entertaining XD

ooc//~ @Solo Hero - Just to add drama to the roleplay, Dev and Griff should be mortal enemies, always fighting for popularity or something like that! Plus that would add drama with Sophie and Nessa, two best friends whose lovers are enemies! Just a thought. bic//~ Dev stared down at her, concerned. She said she was fine, he decided it would be a bad idea to push her. She would tell him if she was really hurt, wouldn't she? Dev swallowed hard, his eyebrows furrowing together. So many things to say, so many questions that he wanted to ask. However, instead of saying them all, he swallowed his words, and coolly said; "you were headed to the drinks weren't you? Wanna go?" Without letting go of her wrist, or waiting for her answer, Dev led her through the crowd, twisting around many moving bodies, making their way to the drink table.

Ooc:// Solo Hero - I know right? I haven't had this much fun with a couple for a while. Hype - I think that would be a really interesting idea, especaily because Nessa would be a lot nicer to Dev than she is to Griffin which could cause some jealousy... Bic:// Nessa raised an eyebrow at Griffin, staring at him with a curled lip as if he was truely going insane. Even though the urge to take advantage of this opportunity was hard to resist, she knew a losing battle when she saw one. If she did hit Griffin, she would probably only hurt herself in the process even if she hadn't just used all her steam to push him earlier which caused him no harm at all. She crossed her arms tightly over her chest and knocked some loose strands of hair away from her face with a flick of her neck. "I'm not going to hit you," she stated calmly, not breaking eye contact with Griffin either but still feeling the stares they were gaining. -~- Sophie bobbed her head in multiple excited nods at Dev's suggestion, not believing her luck when he moved through the crowd, dragging her behind by the wrist. With her free hand, she quickly tried to make herself as good-looking as possible by brushing away a few stray hairs and whiping away the mascara that had run underneath her eyes. She was still straightening her simple white tank to show of her curves in the most complimentary way when they reached the drink table.

Ooc:// @ Rose & Hype- I do like that idea as well XD and maybe if it's alright by you guys. Maybe once their training starts Griffin could get closer to Sophie (not in a romantic way but just as friends. Idk maybe he's trying to learn more about Vanessa from her bestfriend lol) And Since Nessa wouldn't be there, Griffin wouldn't have to act like he does: Sophie could find out that he's surprisingly very sweet haha XD (of course you know that would add greatly to the Dev and Griff rivalry) Bic:// Griffin looked at her curiously, not moving his face away from hers. "And why not? C'mon, I'm ready. You want to, so why don't you?" Griffin challenged. His blue eyes sparkling into hers mischeviously. "You want another kiss, babe?" He asked. It seemed like he was just wanting her to knock his lights out. But honestly that was his way of flirting, or aggravating-depending on your veiwpoint.

Nessa rolled her eyes at him, her arms nearly shaking with the restrain it took for her to not slap that teasing smirk right off of his face. "Don't push your luck," she practically growled it him, but even though she seemed to grow angrier and angrier at him, Nessa knew it would be bad if she actually took out her frustration on his face. First off, she hated those stupid little girls that caused drama in the center of big parties just to get attention, and she did not want to be known as one of them under any circumstance. And secondly, even if she did smack him across the cheek, one of his precious little fan girls would probably come to his rescue and claw Nessa's face off. Though it would probably be a fight she could win, she really didn't want to start that tonight.

Griffin was about to say something when he noticed a small gang watching them. A few cheerleaders, and the occasional boy. Griffin again knew what he had to do. There was no way around it: It was the perfect setting, oh why did he always have to be set up? Griffin stood straight and opened his arms. "Hey, c'mon, get goin', you ain't part-a this conversation." at that the gang seemed bewildered. "Oh what? You never seen a couple fight?" he asked, trying not to grin. He turned to wrap his arm around Vanessa and pull her against him. "C'mon babe, let's kiss and make-up!" he flirted yet again.

Nessa pushed away from him as hard as she could, backing up enough to get a clear shot and slap him straight across the face with a stinging sound. "I said don't touch me," she nearly screamed at him, her frustration still building even though she thought that hitting him would release some of that. Apparantly, Griffin was one of those people that Nessa could never stop being mad at . On cue, a tiny red head came out of the crowd, worrying over Griffin like he was some helpless child. She gave Nessa the evil eye, an action that nearly had Nessa throwing a punch at her face too. "Seriously?!" Nessa asked in a shrill voice, seemingly addressing the crowd as a whole instead of just the single girl. "He tries to force himself on me. That's practically rape. And in public! And I'm the bad guy?" She muffled a scream of frustration behind closed lips, both of her hands still curled into fists. Not being able to even look at him being nursed by the redhead anymore, Nessa quickly turned away and stalked off. She heard one of the cheerleaders whisper to her captain, "Does that mean they're broken up?" to which Nessa politely yelled, "We were never together!" She pushed her way through the stunned, nearly silent crowd as she made her way to the door, no longer enjoying the party and wanting to just go back to her dorm room.

ooc:// okay guys, since the characters are mostly just mingling now, some relations have been established, I'm going to bring in the spy dudes. Feel free to make your character's each encounter them differently.
Griff recollected himself, smirking, despite the sting he felt in his face. He turned to looked at the redhead that had approached him, and who was currently nursing him. His hair was a mess, now just hanging aimlessly in his face, his black bangs covering his blue eyes. The ginger was probably looking for an excuse to touch him. He'd had an experience similar to that with some cheerleaders: after he'd been tackled hard-the girls advised taking off his shirt would somehow help. He smiled politely at the red, flipping his hair. "I'm a'ight. Thanks for worrying." he winked, before hurrying after Vanessa. "Nessie!" he called, using an ancient nickname for her. One he'd used when they met as freshmen, a rare and vaguely remembered time when Vanessa actually liked Griffin-and they referred to each-other as friends.
Before he could catch up to the blonde, a thick arm came into his path nearly clothes-lining him. "Griffin Thompson?" At his name, Griff jumped and followed the arm up to a shoulder then to the face of a massive African American man, wearing a suit and dark sunglasses.
"Yeah...?" Griffin answered hesitantly, praying desperately this wasn't a body-guard Vanessa had hired.
"You are, Griffin Thompson?" the man asked and Griff nodded. "Do you know: Becka Madison, Leo Edwards, Deveron Black, and Sophie Bray?" he asked again.
Griffin blinked, scared by how he just listed those names without looking at anything-he didn't even hesitate. "...Yes..."
"Go find them." the man said and four others, dressed in the same suit and sunglasses, marched off to find those kids.
"What's going-"
"I'll explain everything, once you're together, and we're in private." The man interrupted.
Griffin remembered Nessa and saw her leaving. "Hey, I need to talk to that girl-" but when he tried to follow, the man stopped him. "No time." he stated bluntly.
Griff watched her go, he sighed, and realized he'd messed up.
