Ren smiled, he walked back away to graze. There was nothing else to really do, but he was feeling very coltish and the herd often had games of tag and such. He whinnied and they all gathered around him. "I'm feeling a bit coltish, anyone else?" he asked, most of the other horses nodded their heads, he grinned, "Alright, what shall we do?" he asked.

Nova watched her father. "We should race!" she exclaimed, the other horses nodded.

Breezy::
She put her front knees down first, letting the rest of her just fall onto the ground. She nuzzled Comet, him doing the same. Comet snuggled up beside his mom, taking a quick nap. Breezy lied her head down on the soft grass and just unwound. She needed a well deserved break after a long day.

Ren nodded, "Alright, pair up, and we'll all cheer and watch each other race, around the huge oak, around the boulder, across the river around the meadow and back across the river to here." he said, they all nodded.

Breezy::
She noticed one stallion in particular was looking at her. She smiled some, feeling her face getting warm. She looked away, she didn't know what to do. That's exactly how Zeus had courted her 4 months ago. Breezy directed her attention back on Comet, putting her head on his back. She was laying in the shadows.

Ren paired himself up with another stallion, his cousin, Duke. They were first to race. They both took off and ran neck and neck towards the first tree, even now Ren could tell that he was going to win.

Breezy::
She glanced at Duke some, then back at Comet. She shut her eyes slowly, drifting off to sleep herself. Usually she never slept on the ground but she was just so tired of standing. About 2 minutes later, she feels something slithering over her side and across her back. She looked over, lifting her head. It was a snake! Breezy couldn't freak out, she'd hurt Comet in the process. She could only let it slither over her back and away from her. She held her breath until it passed over her and slithered away.

Ren raced around the tree, then the boulder, he grinned and surged forward, he jumped into the water and swam powerfully across, he sprinted around the meadow, Duke was at the river still, Ren burst back into the water and back to the herd, they all cheered and he grinned. Duke was his closest competition, but the other stallion could never match him, none of the could really, save a few mares, but he was lead stallion.

Breezy::
An hour later she gets up, shaking off the dirt and going to get a quick drink. She let out a low whinny to Comet as he was about to bite her. Breezy knew he'd never be mean to her, but he was just curious about how everything tasted. Comet shook his head, trotting over to a small, growing tree. He nibbled at the leaves. Coughing them up. Breezy shook her head and grabbed some tall grass. Holding it out in front of his face. Comet sniffed at it, nibbling.

Ren stood under the shade of the trees and dozed lightly, he wasn't really asleep, but wasn't really awake, he was in between, vaguely aware of what was going on around him, but resting. He swished his tail to ride the flies, which only scared them away for a few seconds before they returned. He continued to swish his tail.

Breezy::
She whinnied a little bit, beginning to gallop around. She needed to stretch out her legs. Breezy felt slight pressure in her stomach... Nah, just gas(LoL). She went back to the water source, getting some water. She noticed Duke again, smiling lightly.

Ren stomped his foot, the flies were so very annoying. He blinked awake and sighed, he clopped over to the river and walked into the deep part to where only his head stuck out, he stood there and moved his head a few times. "STUPID flies." he muttered angrily. He held his head underwater uncomfortable for a moment before resurfacing.

She smiled a bit more and began to nibble at some grass. Comet was running around, turning sharp hard circles. Breezy watched his to make sure he didn't go to far and get lost or hurt.

Ren snorted and enjoyed the cool of the water, in fact he would have loved it, but the stupid flies wouldn't leave him be, not even for a second. He sighed and walked out of the water, shaking the water away.

Breezy::
Comet slammed into Duke. Breezy bolted over to him, helping little Comet up. She nuzzled her son, fearing that he had hurt himself. Comet put his small hoof on his mom's forehead. Breezy smiled, he was fine. She lifted him up, helping him on his now unstable hooves.

Nova trotted over to her father, "Dad, can I go to the lake or something?" she asked, he shrugged, "Your old enough now to care for yourself." he said, she nodded.
