Martin didn't emerge from his room when the phone rang, he simply perked, but didn't bother listening, because that'd be rude. He sniffled a bit, and finished unpacking, which really was just putting a few shirts and pants in the drawers, and setting a little wooden lemon on the nightstand. His father had made the lemon for him, and it was small enough for him to keep with him at all the time.

David ~
He relaxed some and sat in the living room. He thought of his car and wrapped his scarf back around his neck and slipped his hat on. David opened the door at the cold wind rushed in. David shivered a bit before walking to the garage and starting his car. Just to listen to the engine. He smiled and ran his hand over the cold car. Singing softly to it. David couldn't help but rev the engine.

Martin heard the an engine rev up somewhere, and fought the urge to go look. Instead, he padded quietly into the kitchen, and found a cup, before filling it with water. He took a sip, and looked around, deciding to explore a bit. He walked over to the bookshelf and examined the books, without touching anything of course, the last thing he wanted to do was anger his new room mate, because he looked like he'd be rather scary if angered.

David ~
He smiled and rested his head on the car's light frame. Magnifico. He said and smiled, reapting it over and over again. David smiled and walked out of the garage after turning his car off. He went to the front door and opened it. It was beging to snow. David smiled some and looked at the small foot rug. It had Italian colors. David had an Italian flag in his room. David yawned. What to do, what to do. He said and pondered on his thoughts.

Martin looked to David when he entered the house, and turned to him.
"David?" He asked quietly, forcing himself a bit closer, so he could actually talk with him. "I was wondering..could I borrow one of your books? To read, of course."

David ~
But of course. He said and looked at Martin. He smiled some and looked at the man. He went and sat on the couch, thinking of something he could do for a past time. Since swimming wasn't in the equation, David didn't have any real idea. David thought for a moment before noticing the empty canvas. David got some paints ready and began to paint freely. Painting his car.

"Thank you!" Martin said quickly, gently removing one of the books from the shelf, before shyly scuttering back into his room. He left the door open, feeling it would be somewhat mysterious if he had it shut all the time. He set the book down, and pulled out a pen and paper, and began sketching an aeroplane.

A few hours of painting and a steady hand finally paid off. David had succesfully painted his car and signed his initals on the bottom of the canvas. He hung the painting up in the living room after finidng a good frame. David smiled more and looked at the canvas. Magnifico. Just like the real thing. He said and smiled bigger.

Martin's phone buzzing scared him a bit. He answered it hastily, and after a few minutes he hung up, getting dressed quickly. They needed him at MJN, the pilot was out on another flight. He pulled on his outfit, and grabbed his hat, hurrying out of his room.
"I've got to go for a while, David! I'll see you around!" He said.

David ~
Goodbye. He said and nodded some. He looked at the painting and smiled more. He went to the bathroom and used the bathroom and washed his hands afterward. David shut the bathroom door and cut off the light before he left out of the bathroom. David yawned some more and took a nap on the couch.

Martin loved flying more than anything; he was always a bit sad when the flight ended. He drove back to David's, coming in quietly, pulling off his hat with a sigh. He pulled off his jacket as well, and began making his way back to his room.

David ~
I noticed you love flying. Come spring, I can take you to the air force base and let you get inside some planes. He said and looked around. He didn't know if Martin had heard him of not.

Martin jumped a bit at David's voice, and turned to look at him with wide eyes.
"That's..not necessary David..Letting me stay here is too much already."

David ~
He shrugged. If you say so. Do you drink? He said, gesturing a bottle of fine wine. He had poured a full glass for himself. David was celebrating. He looked at Martin again then at the bottle. David sniffled some and slid his hat off. Making himself more comfortable.

"Oh, not..regularly.." Martin replied softly. "I suppose a glass could hurt though." He approached David warily, and sat down in a chair across from him.
