Felix sat down, setting the basket down, it held a variety of foods and he immediately took out a bag of deer jerky, he ate a piece and watched the water. Sirius clopped over and shaded them, lessening the heat. He was drawn to the water, but he stayed put, he liked Anna, but he wasn't about to make any rash decisions, he couldn't afford to. He had his people to lead. He glanced at her for the slightest second and then returned his gaze to the water.

Princess Anna ~
She sat down with him. Her mind floated away on cloud 9 while she just sat there doing nothing. Something caught her attention. She looked at what Felix was eating. What is that? She asked simply. She relaxed some and just fixed her gown so it wasn't bunched up on one side. She smiled some and looked at the ground then back up at Felix. She thought of the man she was supposed to wed and it made her a little mad. She couldn't believe her father would try to give her away like that. She sighed some.

Felix drew a dagger when he heard what she several seconds later referenced, but he made no move to get up. He didn't know and he stated so to her in a low voice. He looked around, if anyone wanted to mess with them, they would have to expose themselves. He whistled a bird call, to make sure it wasn't one of his men, no one answered. He cursed quietly under his breath. Sirius was grazing and had moved away.

Princess Anna ~
She looked at the dagger and looked around. What? She said and shifted some. She didn't know what was she supposed to be looking for. She thought of something to say that would probably calm both of them. She couldn't think of anything. She sighed and layed on her back, staring up at the trees. She heard a galloping sound. It was a horse. She looked in the direction the noise was coming from and she looked a little nervous.

Felix stood, stuffing the food back in the basket. "Get up on Sirius, if anything happens to me, ride back to the city, and I mean the hidden city. My city." he said and put the knife away, drawing Gleam, his sword. He stood, taking the defense position, ready for anyone... or anything, even if it wasn't harmful, he had to always be ready, for he had learned at a young age that one who wasn't ready was a dead man.

Princess Anna ~
No I'm not leaving you here. She said grabbing his arm. If he stayed, she stayed. She was hard headed just like her father. She stood there, her gown had a little bit of dirt on the corner. The person on the horse jumped off the horse and held a sword. She glared at the man. Anthony? She said, disbelief. Anthony was her ________. Anna just watched him. Anthony glared at Felix. Anna was still shocked and she didn't know what to do or say.

OOC:// maybe he could be her brother, or best friend.

Felix shook his head but let her stay, a boy, well, man, he seemed about Felix's age came into sight, he hopped off his horse, sword drawn and Felix faced him. He heard what they said and turned his head slightly. "You two...know each other?" he asked, confused, he hadn't expected anyone to come after the princess, let alone find her, of all the crazy things. This place was hidden, as was the city.

Princess Anna ~
She shook her head and looked at Anthony. Go home Timmy. She said, her nickname for him. Anthony didn't want to but he went. Robin waiting for him with his arrows ready. Anna had no idea that her cousin was gonna be arrowed to death. She looked at Felix. He is my cousin. Very poor. She said and heard a death yell. She ran through the trees to find Anthony with 4 arrows in his chest. She squeeled and looked at him. She shook her head and looked away. She couldn't handle the sight of blood.

Felix nodded, but heard the twang of arrows, then the tell tale death of a man and sprinted after her. He skidded to a halt and looked from side to side. He took her cousin's horse's reigns and handed them to her. "looks like you inherited a horse." he said, he looked at the arrows and recognized the fletching (feathers) of the arrows as Robin's work, he did a bird call and waited, to see if it was indeed Robin who had killed her cousin, and if it had been him, there would be a talk.

Princess Anna ~
She took the reins. It was a white horse. She smiled some and patted the horse. It was indeed a mare. And a friesian! Awesome, Anna loved Friesians, they were so beautiful. She heard a bird call from Felix then another one in return from Robin. She let the mare graze and Anna smiled some and thought of something. She patted her side and decided to call the mare, Layla. She guided the mare away from the bloody mess and back to the lake.

"I'll be right back, here, take this." Felix said, walking back with her, he gave her a knife and walked back into the trees, he pulled the arrows from her cousin's chest and walked into the trees, tracking Robin to the place where he stood. "Why'd you kill that man?" he asked, curious to see what his second in command would say. The man hadn't done anyone any harm and from his clothes, he looked to be one of the people the rebellion helped, not killed, Robin would have to give a good excuse. Otherwise he would have to be punished with fifteen lashes to the back, just like anyone else when they killed without provocation in the rogue army. He himself had been punished the same when he had been young and arrogant, but Robin was a year older and should have known better to kill a peasant.

Robin ~
He looked at Felix, he could tell by his expression that he was a little mad. He was wielding a weapon and refused to stop and speak to the guards. He lived in the village where we got her from. He was tracking us. He said and looked at the arrows. He was proud of himself for being such a good shot. He thought for a while about the princess, he knew that he would be hers sooner or later by the aid of her father. Robin knew his father and was just as cold as he was. Robin showed no certain emotion as he talked to Felix. Watching Anna walk away.

"He was looking for his cousin, but I can accept your excuse, we shall discuss this later, but for now, continue on your way." Felix said, as he walked away he called over his shoulder, "death is never necessary, remember that." he said and walked back into the clearing. "We should head back, before it starts getting dark." he told her and swung onto Sirius, he smiled at her gently and kicked Sirius into a walk. He trusted her now, she had had countless opportunities to escape, but she had stayed, and he admired that about her.

Princess Anna ~
She nodded and called Layla over. She mounted her beautiful horse and kicked her sides. She followed Felix because she didn't know the way back. She looked at Layla as Layla nudged Sirius' leg. Anna smiled some and patted her neck, urging her forward. Princess Anna thought of the palace and of her mother. She wondered where the theif was at with her puppies. He should have been back by now. Anna began to worry and she shifted in the saddle. She looked at Felix and at his thick hair. She didn't know a man could have such thick hair. All the men around where she lived had either trimmed hair or shoulder length hair. Anna thought more of home and it made her even more depressed.

Felix nudged Sirius forward and soon they were back, the gates opened as soon as they came in view, and they returned, he showed Anna the stable and took care of Sirius, a man ran over to him, "Placias is back." the man said, referring to the thief, he nodded, the man whispered. "The dogs are in the princess's room." the man said. He nodded, he had arranged for her to have a room with no bars and better furniture, with a bookshelf, and things, right across from his own so he would hear if she decided to test the walls of the hidden city. He smiled and walked over to her after finishing with his horse, "come, I'll take you to your room, there is a surprise there waiting for you." he said and walked out of the stable.
