"Really? Because there are loads of traps that way." Ian hummed, grabbed a stick and showed Kat where a little trip wire was.

Kat wavered and reutnred to the man, "Where to then?" She said irritably.

"This way." Ian replied, leading Kat around the wall into the woods. "We should probably get some rest, they guards dint come outside of the gates too much.

Ian shrugged down into a sitting position an leaned against a tree. He huffed a yawn and looked up at the sky, then back to Kat.

(( Because, like, he's about to kill her, and then she has to beg for her life and convince him that she can lead him to great power..? LoL ))

"Nah, been in this country forever though, not the empire. I used to live in Dublin, little village in Ireland..But then I-uh- moved here." Kat said, most of her story was true, except the only reason she traveled to the Empire was to find wealth in the villagers.

"What do you mean by that?" Kat hissed, seeing him move his hand down his leg, she inched towards her satchel, suddenly off ease.

"Y'see, like I said..everyone knows you up at the village, word get's 'round of a sneaky theif like you." Ian hummed, grinning evilly in the dark, his hands tightening around around the knife.

Kat snorted, reaching into her bag and gripping her knife also, "Yeah, well... I did come from Ireland, and I DID move to the Empire. I just didn't tell you why." Kat growled, standing up slowly, ready to bolt.
