Rose simply nodded at the three boys, silently agreeing with all they had said, including Darrel's words of how "great" this seemed. Rose understood what he had meant, so she had barely paid attention to his ramblings afterward. Her mind had wondered off at Doctor's question, and her brain tried to work out the kinks of how to get all of them from Pennsylvania to Washing, DC. The obvious answer would be to drive down, but that would talk a lot of lying to their parents and a lot of gas, hotel, and food money. Maybe between the four of them (plus Tabitha, Rose reminded herself looking over her shoulder for the other girl) they would be able to scrape up enough cash to make the trip. There was also a train whose station was two hours away, but would take them right to the center of DC. This would also take some cash for the tickets, but it would definately be faster than driving. Still weighing the pros and cons of both plans in her head, Rose finally shared it with her friends. "Well, we could always drive down. Or there's that train station two hours away. Either way, we're going to need some serious cash in our pockets."

Darrell looked around at his friends. He was already feeling better about his ramblings. This is why they were such great friends... He shook himself back to the matter at hand and hesitated before saying, "Well, which one would be cheaper? I mean, they'll both cost us a lot but one of them has to be cheaper, right?" He closed his eyes, trying to think. Sometimes he felt like a good answer was just a touch away but... He couldn't see it.
