Sergei raised his eyebrow, and wasn't quite sure if he had said something wrong, or why Amali became so nervous all of a sudden.

- Oh, you don't have to tell me if you don't want to, he then said.

"Okay," Amali said. You can't keep it a secret for long, he'll understand, she told herself, but couldn't bring herself to bring out her rage at finding out she had been adopted.

- Are you all right? Sergei asked, raising his eyebrows as he wondered why Amali was so nervous all of a sudden.

"Yeah, I'm fine," she quickly said, looking away. She forcefully blinked the tears out of her eyes so that Sergei couldn't see them. She turned back to him. "So, where do you live? You have a den nearby?" she asked, changing the subject.

Sergei looked at Amali for a moment, and he had a feeling she wasn't telling him everything. However, he decided to let it go, so she wouldn't feel uncomfortable with him asking all the questions all the time.

- Oh, I have den, it's a few miles away, you're welcome to stay there for a few days. That is, if you want to, I just figured you could use some rest, he then said, klooking down on his paws nervously, and his tail slowly swinging from one side to another.

Thanks, Amali thought. She had been feeling really uncomfortable right then and was feeling very grateful to Sergei to change the subject. "Thanks for the offer. You're right, I could use a bit of rest."

Sergei began to smile gently, and then turned around in order to leave for his den.

- No problem. So, you coming? he asked, as he looked over his shoulder to see if Amali was coming.

She nodded. "Right behind you." She walked up to him and grinned. "Or right beside you, otherwise."

Sergei hummed quietly at Amali's comments, and then continued walking towards his den, with her following closely.

(Just thought I'd make Amali do something she regretted)

Amali looked around and gasped. The land was so beautiful even in the sunset. She stopped and looked at the setting sun. Watching the sunset always made her feel calm and peaceful. She saw the rays cast light over even the tiniest blade of grass. She breathed in deeply. Then, the sun changed to red, a color she always feared. She gasped as she heard the voices of her family in her head, her friend's yells to run while she hovered over a fire. All the feelings she had been keeping inside came out and filled her with fear, panic and guilt.

(Oh, what's that?)

Sergei could sense something wasn't right, he turned around and saw Amali stopped, and she looked panicked.

- Amali? What is it? he asked, raising his eyebrows and had worried tone in his voice.

SixNewAdventures · **Posted:** Sun May 13, 2012 5:25 am

(her home goes up in flames, and when she tries to save her friend, something takes over her and she pushes her friend off a cliff into the fire. To tell you the truth, even I don't know what that was lol)

Amali could hardly hear Sergei. She stared at the red glow the sun was emitting, her face full of fear. She thought she saw her friend's face before she died, saying the words "Amali, why?" before falling off. Guilt welled up in Amali's mind and she looked around, thinking she could see the flames that destroyed her home. But, what she saw was a peaceful landscape and Sergei looked at her, worried. "I'm fine, really." she quickly said.

(Now that is bad!)

Sergei raised his eyebrows, and came a little closer to the lioness who was looking around her nervously.

- Are you sure? he asked, with a caring and a bit unsure tone in his voice.

SixNewAdventures · **Posted:** Tue May 15, 2012 6:32 am

(or how about when her friend calls for help, Amali just runs away in fear? That would certainly make her feel guilty of causing her friend's death)

Amali put her head down. "Yeah, I am." She looked at him cheerfully and walked ahead. "DO you know where we can get a drink? I'm parched."

-WildFire- · **Posted:** Thu May 17, 2012 12:37 pm

(Oh, that would definetly make her consciense beat her!)

Sergei looked at Amali, with a bit confused look on his face and wasn't sure if he understood what was going on, but then again, he decided he'd just let it go, and walked after her, still being a bit worried.

- There's a small pool of water on the way, you can drink there, he then replied to the lionesse's question.
