I say they end up making the fort/sleeping in the woods for the night or somethin'?

"Erm, thanks?" Bailey seemed to grow another shade darker.
Rufus glanced at Bailey for a split second before answering, "Yea, it's right this way," and walking back into the woods.
Max laughed, "See. Hilarious," he followed the other two 13 year olds.

(Yeah, sounds good to me.)

"Haha, yeah. They are, li'l dude." he said, continuing to follow them to the clearing.

Ok. It'll help to pass time.

"It's getting late," Max acknowledged the darkening sky, "Maybe we better make the fort, and sleep in it."
"Sounds good to me," Rufus nodded, "We'd better just stack a few trees against each other, instead of trying to make an actual building or anything..."
Bailey nodded her agreement.

Hiroki let out a powerful yawn, but as he did, he dropped the tree behind him!

Crash!!

"Whoopsie." he laughed. "I'll go get some more trees, and we'll call it a day..." the husky sighed, kicking and punching a few more down and aligning them neatly in place.

Sorry. Rufus' color freaked out. xD


"Alrighty," Rufus barked, "I'll help drag them into place!" he wagged his bushy tail.
Bailey nodded, "I guess I can help, too... What about you, Max?"
"I'll move leaves outta the way."

Hiroki, refusing to leave the work to a bunch of kids, stepped in the way.
"Um, guys? Don't sweat it," he laughed, "I'll fix things up nicely." he said, and began moving them and arching them against each other. After some time passed, it harbored the appearance of a miniature shelter, having three large trees hanging above to serve as a roof, and multiple tree trunks inside as the "beds".

"Thanks!" Max said, enthusiastically.
"I'm thinkin' we'll crash here for the night, you wanna stay, Hiroki?" Rufus said, flopping down on one of the beds. "Thanks a bunch!"
"It's awesome!" Bailey exclaimed as she yawned.

Hiroki looked it over, but then shook his head.
"Nah... I'm too big to fit in somethin' that small." the eldest teenager said, which was hard to believe, considering how humongous the shelter was. "I'll just go find a tree or somethin' and catch some Z's." the husky said boredly as he disappeared into the forest.

Wanna skip to the next day?


"Erm, okay," Bailey called after him as she layed down on one of the makeshift beds.
Max layed down too, yawning, "I claim this spot!"
Rufus was already asleep by the time everyone said goodnight.

(Sure.)

Night passed, even though it might have been a hard one to sleep through, what with Hiroki's loud snoring having filled the woods with an unnerving rhythm of sound.

"Meh," Rufus uttered as he woke up, "Where'm I? Oh yea... woods and tree fort. Well, I'ma mess with Baileyyy~!" he smiled, tail wagging as he walked across the fort. He was close to the fox when he yawned, accidentally.
Max woke up when he heard Rufus, and smirked as he watched the wolf and fox.
Rufus grinned, "Baileyyy~!"
Bailey woke up and glared at Rufus. "What were you about to do?"
"Er... nothing?" Rufus smiled nervously.
Max sat up, "I'm gonna go find Hiroki, you guys stay here," and with that, the dog walked out of their small houselike fort.

Hiroki, his paws folded across his belly, was laying against a sturdy tree, a large leaf blocking his face. By the grin he wore, he must've been having one crazy dream...

Max stepped closer to the husky. "Hiroki?" he questioned, "You awake? Everyone else is..."

Bailey rolled her eyes, "Sure... sure..."
Rufus shrugged. Then he sat down by the fox, "C'mon, Bailey, we gotta be all ready for what we're gonna do today!"
"How is this making us anymore ready?" Bailey questioned.
Rufus did another of his increasingly common shoulder shrugs, "It just is," he smiled.
Bailey looked at the wolf, "Can I ask you something?"
"Yea, sure?"
"Why are you even friends we me and Max?"
"Cuz, you guys looked too awesome to be lonely. Especially you." he poked her.

"Hrrh, mrrph, wha-whuh?" Hiroki snorted, shaking his head and blinking his eyes open. "Oh, hiya Max. G'moring..." he said with a yawn. "Wait... If you left camp, who KNOWS what that fox and wolf are doin' to each other..." the husky stifled a laugh.

Max laughed. "We'd better hurry back to them," he mocked shock.

"I'm that that awesome," Bailey muttered.
"Dun be negative! If I'm friends with ya, you're epic."
