Jedi moved out of the way to let the others take turns getting a look into the cave. He stepped to the back of the group to stand next to his brother. He looked over his brother and noticed he was still an inch or two taller, so Jedi tried standing taller to catch up. The silence between them was killing him and he wasn't even sure if he knew he was next to him. "This will be fun. Wont it, James?"

Haley shut her bag again and swung it over her shoulder as she made her way to the entrance of the cave with Cale and Misty. She made her way passed them and took several steps inside the structure. She flickered on her flashlight and noticed that the beginning of the cave was a circular room-like structure with two tunnels leading in opposite direction. "Come on, guys! Get in here!" she called to everyone else still outside.

Cale nodded at Misty, gesturing for her to walk in farther in front of him. "Should be safe enough," Cale added with a shrug, moving his flashlight along the walls in peering into the two tunnels, which seemed to go on forever in the dimness.

Rose glanced over her shoulder only slightly when she saw James moving to the back of the group. She turned to Scotty, glad he was still beside her. She gave him a small smile before stepping inside the cave and flicking on her light. She looked around the entire room before settling her gaze back to Scotty. "Well, this should fun, right?" she asked him.

"Course it will!" Scotty replied happily to Rose. He usually was next to James. He was like James' sidekick. Scotty realized he was tired of it. He decided to stay next to Rose instead. She was always so nice, and maybe if Scotty was with her, James would steer clear.

James rolled his eyes at Scotty and Rose. His friend was always trying to be noble. It made James sick. Scotty was a bad boy to, why he acted like a little kid around Rose, was a mystery to James. He blinked, and looked over hat his brother, who he hadn't noticed. "Hmm, oh yeah, fun. Walking around in a dark hole." James muttered.

Jedi gave a little cough and said, "Yeah, your right..." He actually thought that it would be fun, but he was just trying to be cool with his brother. Then he thought to himself 'Why do I have to be cool for him? He's just a jerk!' Jedi shook his head, feeling sorry for himself. 'I'm not going to let him ruin my trip' he thought. Jedi walked into the cave to join Scotty and Rose. "Hey, Scotty, Rose, can I walk with you guys?"

Rose turned to Jedi with a happy smile. "Yes, of course," she said in a friendly tone. Despite her feelings towards his brother, Rose had never disliked Jedi and was very glad to see him putting some distance between himself and James. She looked at James for a second with a proud and confident expression, feeling safe next to Scotty and Jedy. Maybe this trouble wouldn't be so horrible after all.

"Cool Jedi, now it's the three of us!" Scotty smiled. Still walking happily through the dark. He shone his flashlight around the walls.

James glared at Rose when she gave him that expression, then he noticed something that made him smirk darkly. Above Rose, Scotty, and Jed. Where a small group of bats. With a wicked grin, James shone a flashlight up on them, waking them. Then... "Ahhchooo!!!" he faked a sneeze loudly causing the bats to screech and take off wildly, they swarmed the three teens below them. He hadn't meant to get Scotty and Jedi, but they shouldn't be with Rose.

"Thanks guys!" Jedi was good friends with Scotty and knew he was a good kid without James by his side. Jedi could feel James starring the three of them down, he just wasn't expecting James to take action. The bats didn't exactly attack them but they were touching. Jedi freaked out a little just mainly trying to block his face from any frantic bats. The bats flew away quickly. Jedi turned around to see James. There were so many things Jedi could have said to James right Then and there but he didn't want to embarrass himself infront of all of these people he didn't know and if James wanted to he could whip Jedis butt. All Jedi could manage was a death glare and "Really James? Was that necassary?" He turned around and tried to ignore James. "Are you okay Rose?"

Scotty had ducked down. He quickly straightened back up and looked around. He hadn't been scared. He found it cool actually. One of the bats had knocked his hat off, so it took him a minute to find it. Then he returned to the others. "You guys alright?" he asked, looking at Rose.

James stood in the background, laughing.

Rose gasped loudly as the bats flew down towards the group. She flung her hands above her head to black her face from the wings and claws as the bats quickly made their way outside of the cave. When everything settled, she glared across the way at James, who could only laugh at this. She quickly returned her attention to Jedi and Scotty. "Yes, I'm fine," she said to them both, her heart still racing more from surprise than actual fright. "How are you?"

As the bats came down, Cale jumped as one brushed his shoulder, causing him to trip on a rock just as the bats disppeared. He knocked against a loose patch of rocks and soil, which moved a tad. When nothing more happened, Cale picked himself up from the ground and was about to ask Misty if she was alright when his voice was drowned out by the loud thud of rocks sliding and falling against each other. Dust unsettled from the walls and ceiling, causing Cale to cough loudly as he was coated in dirt. The natural light vanished, leaving only the light from their flashlight. The noise stopped and Cale tried to look through the dust for the others. "Is everyone okay?" he called into the cloud of dirt.

Haley tripped over her feet at the unsettling, skidding across the ground as her flashlight crunched against the hard ground. She swore under her breath as she stood up, brushing off her now filthy clothes. She glanced at the entrance and noticed it completely blocked by rocks and stones and soil. She cussed again, more loudly this time so everyone could hear. "What happened?" she yelled, not yet being able to see everyone through the dust but angry enough to yell at them all. She instantly wanted to blame James, but didn't feel in her right to accuse him so blindly.

As the earth moved, Rose's feet became unsettled and she knocked against both boys before finally falling to her knees. "Ow," she muttered as something, probably a sharp rock, cut into her lower leg. When everything settled again, Rose sat with her knees to her chest, trying to look at her scratch. It wasn't deep and she easily wiped away the blood with a finger, but it still hurt. She sighed as the dust began to settle, noticing the caved in entrance and realizing they were trapped.

Bailey bantered with Rufus playfully while they entered the cave. "I seriously doubt there will be anything exciting..." she concluded as they walked in. She watched the interacton between Rose, Scotty, Jedi and James carefully. She almost felt bad that Rose and Haley weren't friends anymore. She understood their reasoning, however.

"Turn your flashlight on," Rufus said, handing the plastic source of light to the girl. He also turned his on. "It's gonna be dark, regardless if there's anything cool or not!" he laughed. He glanced at the four teens, too. "I kinda feel bad that they stay outside of our group," he told Bailey.

Misty smiled at Cale as she walked inside, turning her flashlight on. "Safe, but dark!" she laughed.

Bailey quickly covered her head when the bats came, letting out a small, scared squeak.

Rufus tried to keep himself from getting scratched when the bats came, but one of their claws left a bloody mak on his face. "Told ya we'd see bats," he laughed while the bats were still leaving. "Huh, Bailey?"

Misty covered up her head and neck while the bats went past, and as soon as they were gone, she uncovered her face. She of course saw Cale fall down. She then was covered in the dust, and looked pretty unsettled after that. "These were new clothes!" she shrieked at noone in particular.

Rufus looked almost frustrated when the dust cloud formed because of the rocks. He quickly grabbed Bailey.

Bailey let out another squeak as the cave's entrance was covered up. She blushed slightly as her best friend grabbed her. As soon as the rocks stopped falling, she pulled away and murmered a quiet, "Thanks, Roo."

Scotty blinked in the dust and looked at the now blocked entrance. He then looked at James, for a split second, it looked like he felt remorse, bit it soon passed.

"James! Look what you did you bloody imbecile!" Scotty snapped, his English accent becoming very apparent. He tried to hide it, but sometimes he couldn't help it.

James looked quickly at his friend and blinked with shock, "Pssht, so what, it's a cave, there's always a way out-"

"You don't know that, James!!" Scotty snarled, shoving James roughly back, and making him stagger a bit. The only thing that kept Scotty from going on was he noticed Rose, and her bleeding knee. He cast a final glare a James, who had backed against the wall. Then he rushed over to Rose. Immediately calming down, "Are you o'ight?" he asked, kneeling down next to her, his accent still apparent in his voice.

Cale couldn't help but chuckle at Misty's reaction. The group may have just sealed themselves inside a cave with no way back out and all she could say were her new clothes were filthy. Rolling his eyes and smirking, Cale walked over to Misty and brushed the dirt off her shoulder. It didn't help much, but there was really nothing else to do to help. "I'm sure they're not ruined," he told with a reassuring smile. "Just a little dirty, that's all."

Haley quickly made her way over to James, ready to shove him a few times herself. But now that the dust had settled, her temper quickly cooled. She bit her tongue before she could say anything to James, and busied herself with fiddling with her obviously broken flash light. She threw it to the ground since the equipment was useless to her now. "If everyone's alright, we better start searching for a way out," she announced, making her way over to the right tunnel. She turned back around to face the tunnel on the left, deciding which would be the better option. "Maybe we should split," she suggeted, seeing no other way.

Rose jumped in alarm when Scotty shoved James, ready to step into the middle of them if a fight started. She new from experience how unfairly James fought and wasn't about to let Scotty discover it himself. Luckily, the brawl ended as quickly as it started. "I'm good. This is nothing," she said, gesturing to her knee which had already stopped bleeding. She had never heard his accent before, and she didn't quite know what to make of it. She didn't think much of it, though, and asked, "How about you? Are you okay?"

James grummbled something to himself. He didn't care that he may have endangered them all.

Scotty smiled and nodded, "Takes alot more than a few, bloody flying rats, to bother me." he assured. He stood up and outstretched his hand for her to take, his offer to help her up, though he knew she didn't like to take help. And he gave a nod of agreement to Haley, looking back a Rose.

All Jedi could think was '10 o'clock news here we come!' he could see the headlines now, but there has to be a way out. This cave couldn't go forever, right? Everybody started gangin up on James, and yes, Jedi agreed it was his fault but fighting was just going to make it worse. Then the idea of splitting up came along. Jedi didn't think that was the best idea, but he was to chicken to speak up. He dusted his clothes off and picked up his sunglasses off the ground, cleaning them off and putting them on the top of his head. He knew everybody else was thinking it, so he just decided to say it. "So...um... Groups?" was all he could manage.
