Snowshoe and Santi sat at the edge of town, panting softly.

“That was awesome!” Santi grinned.

“No you idiot!” Snow snapped, “People got hurt!”

Santi frowned, “You just know how to kill the moment don’t you?”

Notice came over to her musher and licked his cheek knowing that she was still okay.
The musher smiled and patted her head and looked at her ear, "It'll be better by the end of the day."
Notice rubbed into his chest as the other dog watched weirdly.

By then they had told Solomon all that had happened.

“This is your entire fault, Santi!” Solomon snapped.

“My fault?! She was just standing there! It’s her fault!” he shot back.

“You and your reckless behavior got others hurt!” Solo snarled.

“What are you gonna do about it loverboy?!” Santi yelled.

Solomon thought for a moment before walking toward Nome.

“That’s right! Run!” Santi shouted.

Notice was laying on the beach, sighing in relief that the bullet wasn't 2 inches lower.

Solo trotted through town quietly, trying to ignore the stares some people gave him. A gunshot sounded and he gave a loud yelp. He was running through Nome before he could get shot. He ran through Nome down to the beach. He looked behind him to see the butcher aiming at him again. He backed away and kept running and ducked behind a sand dune. “Crazy human.” He muttered.

Notice perked her ears and looked over, "Oh, like he would care for you, you look just like him almost," she growled before looking back at the ocean.

Solo stood, lowering his ears. "I didn't do anything! I came to apologize for my brother's behavior. He got you hurt." he murmured, "Don't compare me to my brothers."

"Surpriesed you even talked to him," she huffed not looking back at him. "I can see it wasn't that it wasn't that other one's fault, but i KNOW it was him."

“It wouldn’t be anyone else’s fault. Not Snow’s and not mine. And I’d always talk to him…he’s my brother. They’re the only family I have left.” He said, sitting on the sand dune. “You wouldn’t understand…you have the humans on your side.”

"Yea but is it fun when YOUR family is on the other side of the continent?" she asked glancing at him a little bit.

"Is it fun when almost all of your family is dead?" he demanded, now getting irritated.

"I don't know!" she barked a tear about to swell up in her eye.

Solo sighed and looked down at the sand. "Look...I'm sorry for what my brother did adn for what I said. Is ther any way we can make it up to you...any way at all?"

"Teach your brother a lesson about stealing meat?" she asked looking up and wiping the tear away from her eye.

"I'll talk some sense into him." he promised, standing up.
