Dax looked at the sky, then at her, a small smile played over his face. He turned his head to once side and sat, his tail thumping gently on the ground.

Link looked up at him then away at the tree quickly.

Dax looked at his paws and then at the leather bracelet-like piece on his left leg. It was what was left of his old life, it brought back many memories, good and bad, he pushed them away.. they are past now.. he reminded himself.

Link stayed quiet, but not it just seemed to quiet. "Soo.. what's your name?" she asked not knowing it.

Dax lifted his head, "Dax... and your's?" he asked.

"Links, but it's a lot easier to call me Link," she said and chuckled.

Dax grinned, "cool name.. I never liked mine.." he said, laughing.

"I changed mine, mine originally was Delaware," she said.

Dax nodded, "Yeah, I've thought about changing mine.. I thought about Bram... but I don't know really.. I mean, my parents gave me the name.." he said.

Link nodded, "I know what you mean, I never told my parents about my name change, so they still call me dell, and Dela, Bella, and all those other nicknames I have. although I have thought about changing it to just Bella." she said.

"Yeah, my mother would have been devastated if I did.." Dax said, smiling and shaking her head, "She was such a wonderful wolf, my father was lucky to have her.." he added.

"I'll be lucky enough to have anyone by the time I die," she said and sighed laying her head down.

Dax looked at her and smiled, "No, your very pleasing to look at, I'm sure there is a good wolf out there for you, just waiting..." he said, he shook his head, "Now, I'm the one who isn't going to find anyone. Girls tend to lean towards the soft hearted, emotional guys with all the lovie dovie stuff. I'm not the big drama king." he said.

"Neither am I," she said and looked up at him, who seemed like he was literally towering over her.

Dax smiled, he looked into her eyes, seeing that she was telling the truth, he cleared his throat and looked at his paws.
