theres so much else thats coming out before them though, so I'm good on waiting. (Legend of korra-spring, Animal crossing new leaf- spring/early summer, Catching fire- november, sherlock- early 2014, etc)

boo hoo. dragons could be referring to any dragon. other breeds of dragon (this topic is only about nightfuries, unless we are comparing NF to some other breed), or evil dragons, or eragon dragons that can speak telepathically, or chinese dragons, or lochness monster-y dragons (is that a dragon or just a sea monster?), or pernese dragons, etc.
anyways, maybe all the night furies were killed in the dragon war?
or maybe the first NF that is shown in the movie destroying the catapult thing that stoic is standing on wasn't toothless.

well, toothless built up a tolerance because he was lying in the sun all tied up, nd then trapped in the cove. That's why he didn't have the strength to break free.

the episode of Dragons riders of berk aired last night, and there was a Hidden text : click to show

Whispering Death in the episode. they revealed that Toothless has a grudge against it, and i think the grudge was because the Whipering Death killer the rest of Toothless' family. resulting in, no other Night Furies.

Your theory about why Toothless hated the Whispering Death is nice but with that sentence you're saying that Toothless family were the only Night Furies existing and that's impossible. I mean, it could be true, maybe Night Furies were almost extint but that couldn't be possible. There are other Night Furies out there but there's no reason to show them, since we do already know Toothless and he's kind of the co-main protagonist, hm? They're trying to focus on other dragons too, there's no need for other Night Furies to show up, at least yet. Who knows, maybe in the future they will,kind of Kung Fu Panda 2, Po was the only seen Panda in the first movie and in the series like Toothless is. Maybe in the second movie they'll explain more of them?

but I also don't wanna see it cuz they're gonna make the characters older by 2-5 yrs.

I'm curious myself too for a HTTYD2, many unexplained things from the first movie (other dragons) are being explained now with the series so, I really don't know what to expect from this second movie. I don't think it's a bad thing if the characters gets older, it's normal that people grow xD I'd like to see them as older teen to be honest haha

Yeah, but, not many people watched the Rugrats All Grown Up, nor the new Dora The Explorer grown up, what I'm saying is, not as many people will watch the movie if they do it.
