As Buck and Kaliona made it back, they saw Nala and Kiara dragging over a huge carcass of a buffalo. "Good hunting?" Kaliona asked the two. They nodded.

Kaliona pulled over her zebra and began to eat beside him.

Kaliona was surprised at the silence. She began to eat quietly, only occasionally looking at Buck.

Quickly, she finished eating and stood up. She walked over to Nala and Kiara. "Anyone up for a hunt?" she asked them. They stared at her. She looked at Buck and ran off with them.

Kaliona went outside with the other lionesses. Spotting a herd of wildebeest, they took their positions to set the perfect ambush. When a wildebeest was almost a tail-lengths away from Kaliona's nose, she sprang up and ran after the herd. Soon, the other lionesses joined the hunt and together, they brought down a fine catch.

Kaliona looked at their fresh new catch. "Nala, help....." she turned around and Nala was gone. Where would she have gone? Kaliona thought.
