Balto is absolutely one of the most brilliant animated movies ever made. I first found out about balto in the 90s but the movie became dormant. Just recently Balto has been broadcast on TV. If you have Digital Cable On Demand then you can watch Balto whenever you want. Comcast is my cable provider. Baltos life in the movie can be portrayed as anyones life with whom they have been inspired by. I know its inspired me. The music has really affected me. I want to get the soundtrack but its rare. If anyone has been moved by this movie you should spread the word to others who dont know about the movie.

The first time I remember seeing Balto was probably around 2002, when I rented the WQ VHS tape, and it instantly became one of my favorite movies. Unfortunately I was only able to re-watch the movie once before it was due back, and forgot about Balto after that. Back in 2010 I was browsing a movie streaming website and noticed Balto (the original). I instantly remembered how much I liked the movie, and decided to watch it. Oddly enough, because I didn't remember seeing the first movie, I was pleasantly surprised when I watched it, because the animation was much better than what I remembered from WQ back in 2002. I searched around and found the two sequels as well. At that point, I guess you could say I was a little obsessed with the movies, but after I'd re-watched them so many times, I kind of lost interest and decided to forget about the movies for a while. Recently I decided to watch the movies again, but this time I decided to do a Google search for Balto, and to my surprise I found this site and realized just how popular the movies really are.

^Hey, my first experience with Balto was with WQ too! How about that.
I first watched WQ about spring 2005, because there were TV ads for the third one too. I missed the first ten minutes or so of it, but I still enjoyed the rest. I saw the first movie a few months later in the summer, because I recognized the name from watching the sequel. I know I loved watching it, and I know it's probably cliched by now, but it was the white wolf scene that always stuck in my head.
However, I didn't think much else about it for a few years. It wasn't till about 2008, when I was bored and trying to find something fun online that the white wolf scene popped into my head. I started by looking up a couple clips from the movie, then went and watched the whole thing again online. I later went and found a couple other sites with fanfiction before eventually finding this site. By then, you could say I've become quite a fan, even writing my own fanfiction series over the course of a couple years.

It seems a lot of us have found Balto through YouTube xD. There's like, nearly every film and what not on there. I'm sure there's actually best couples on Balto Source one, a tribute to them. I'll see if I can find it.
@Rainbowkat: I always used to get confused between Balto and the Disney's film, Bolt. Although, I'm still probably younger than most members on here. I remember watching both films and trailers of both Balto and Bolt. Cannot remember which film I saw first, though. Thinking about it, probably Balto. I used to think Balto was just a dog people used in videos, never thought at all about it being a film.
I searched "Balto" into Google and found a lot of stuff, the real Balto, and books written about him, along with the Animated Film. I found Balto Source after that. I found BS before watching the movie, Balto. Then I decided to buy both the sequels, and watched all three films many times. My younger sister loved them, especially the first one, much like me.

It all started when I was in Kindergarten. We were having indoor recess, because it was raining.During indoor recess,we would always watch a movie, and that day, it was Balto. All I remembered was that one scene had something to do with Balto and Jenna wandering around the boiler room area and Steele barging in. Everything else was wiped out of my memory. I didn't see the movie again for many years.Once,in the store(Walmart,I think)I found the Balto DVD,and could have gotten it,but my mom didn't want to buy it. Finally, when I was about 10,my grandparents got it for me for Christmas. It was in the three pack with American Tail and Land Before Time, but who cares?I watched it right away, but the weird thing was,I wasn't really interested in it at first. However, after watching it several times,I started to get sucked in. And to this day, like the rest of you,I am a diehard fan.
