If the hunter really was Aniu,why did she never give any mention of him?

I suppose that's part of the mystery. And I don't think humans are spirits in the Inuit culture . . . I dunno (not Inuit XD).

I think she was him or she possessed him (like a spirit could do), so that it would cause Balto to spill the beans about her wolf likeness and the such. And look, it worked!

I noticed all of that the first time I watched the movie, and yes those are sacred totem animals that netives belived they are some of the guides that guide you by song, each totem animal has a meaning and in the cave scean well thats mainly where people can find thers, the cave is the best known spot to find yours, teachers when you go on a group vission quest you always get brought to a cave^^

This whole movie is basicly all native theorys, belifes and other netive culteral things^^ one of the reasions why I loved this movie the most of all, they said and explain things perfectly and just with alittle bit of wanting to know a whole new part is reviled to you...

Most people just watch the movie and do not care to see, but there is a bigger story behind the movie, it's more of the bigger story then balto, but you just have to want to see it, to learn the story behind the story and what it teaches^^
