Journey looked at him and then at the ground. he loved his brother. They were best friends and got along best out of the litter. But Journey was also very attached to Tama. He loved her. He didnt know what to do....

Flight led the way quietly out of the den. When they were only a few feet out of the den, Drift saw them.
Drift asked them what they were doing. Somehow, knowing that Drift would understand Flight said, "We're leaving."
Drift understood and asked Journey, "What about Tama? Should I give her a message?"

Flight started trekking through the deep snow on the mountainside. They finally found a goat trail and decided to follow it through the mountains.

Flight saw the trial widen up ahead and he rushed up to it. Where the trial widened, there was a large rock jutting out over the ledge, it was like a patrol rock, big enough for two wolves. Flight didn't waste a second to climb on it and take a look at the mountain side.
