I itched my neck hestitently too "I doubt he remembers, it'd be best to just go on like nothing happened..." I suggested, looking at my feet. The food was done and I shoveled it into my mouth "Ahhh, reminds me of home" I said, dreamily looking at the Mac N' Cheese. I rubbed my chin when it was finished and yawned agan "So what do we have planned for today?" I asked, trying to forget the akward tension of last night I wonder if he remembers... I thought curiously, but I shrugged the idea off and sat next to Alfred on the couch "Lemme' see your glasses" I said reaching for his face and pulling off his glasses. I put them on and grinned "I feel like a fish" I said goofily. I leaned agianst Alfred and smiled "So this is what it's like to see like an Alfred, huh?" I asked glancing at the off porportions around the room. I chuckled and handed him back his glasses, only to realize I was a little too close to him, but Alfred didn't mind. I was sure he didn't care about me practically on his lap, but I wondered if Arthur would feel...Jelouse? That I was so close to Alfred right now, probably not. I scooted over so I wasn't as close but still touching Alfred's shoulder "We're like, the only Americans within a 100 mile radius!" I whispered urgently, more goofy than not "I feel so..foriegn, is this what Arthur felt like when he came to America Sophmore year?" I asked, a grin itching across my face.

Alfred laughed, and pushed his glasses back on his nose.
"I guess..except I want to meet all of his friends and he could care less about mine!" The American added with a smirk.
"But I've only met Scott, and half the rime he's drunks so.." he said with a sigh. Alfred peered into the little cup ofnEasy-Mac and grabbed her spoon, takin a bite of it.
"Thanks," he said, grinning at Riley.
Arthur took a Long shower, trying to remember the events of the previous night. He remembered Riley trying to get him to eat, he remembered the two kisses. At thy memory, Arthur slipped, landing in the floor of the tub with a bang.

I pulled my little cup of Mac N' Cheese close to my side in mock defence as Alfred took a bite "Nooo, this is mine! None for you!" I teased turning slightly so he couldn't see the Mac N' Cheese. I heard a loud thump from upstairs and frowned, but it was fallowed by an angry growl so I assumed it was Arthur "So you've met this Scott?" I asked raising an eye-brow, "And the always drunk part is understandable, Brits tend to drink too much" I said, humor thick in my voice. "Jeeze! Arthur takes long showers!" I said resting my elbows on my knee's and looking at my almost empty cup of Mac N' Cheese "Here, you have it, since you have my spoon anways" I said, a blush slightly on my face.

Alfred grinned and happily ate the Mac 'n cheese in practically one bite.
"Mhm," he nodded. "Although, scott's not always drunk..but I can see why Arthur likes him. He matches Iggy perfectly, personality wise. They're both stubborn as he**." he added with a laugh. Alfred licked the spoon, then tossed it into the sink, before throwing away the cup.
Arthur sat in the floor of the tub, trying to grasp the situation.
"I can't believe I kissed Riley...oh god I kissed Alfred too.." he groaned quietly, looking up at the water coming out of the shower-head. He sighed and turned off the water, before grabbing a towel and retreating to his room to change. The Brit jogged downstairs, pullingbon his shirt once he was in the kitchen. Alfred smiled at him, before leaning back inhis chair.

I smiled at Arthur came down, but it was quickly cut off by a violent shiver. I wrapped my arms around my shoulders and sighed "Is it always cold here?" I said, bringing my knee's to my chest and blowing into my hands. On my left was a window, I looked out it and sighed. It wasn't raining, but it wasn't sunny either "How can you stand living here you're entire life Arthur? I've been here a year and I'm ready to just die!" I said, still rubbing my own shoulders and looking at my pale skin.

Arthur shrugged, sitting down in-between Alfred and Riley.
"I've lived here m whole life, guess I'm used to it." he said, before standing Gaincand walking over to a teapot. He poured himself another cup and opened up the refrigerator and pulled out a muffin.
"A whole year? And you never thought to visit?" he asked, taking a hire of his muffin. Alfred smiled and pinched off a bit of Arthur's muffin, and ate it happily.
"Mmm banana nut.." the american said dreamily. Arthur groaned, glaring at Alfred, who have him puppy eyes.
"Would you stop stealing my food? There are plenty more in the fridge, just make sure you toss all the crumbs in the bin~" he added, sounding more British than ever before.

I shrugged "Between lectures and studying I didn't have much time to get out of the dorm, I'm studying music right now, and it's pretty hard. What with all of the rules of writting piano peices and how minors are strickly to be in sad songs. I'll tell you it gets on my nerves. Good thing I got my AA in America though, no General ED for this girl" I smiled and pionted a thumb towards myself "I actually haven't even seen England all that much, i've been on campus for a year, sure I'd go out and party a bit if I'd gotten a high score on my Musical Theory Final, but I was mostly drunk then. Visiting you never accured to me until my mom told me that I couldn't come home..." I didn't say why I wasn't allowed to come home, I just bit my lip and frowned "Sorry I never visited you, I should've, maybe next semester I will" I added at the end, taking a breath and smiling.

Both boys frown at the same moment.
"Oh, well okay...wait, why can't you return home?" Arthur asked, cocking his head, almost making his glasses slip off. Arthur bit his lip, reading Riley's expression.
"You got kicked out of college?" he asked, his green eyes hevy on the girl standing infront of them.
"That's why you needed a place to stay..." Arthur concluded, taking another swallow of his tea.
"Why?" Alfred questioned, eating another muffin whole. Arthur slapped him softly, "Blimey take a bite of the thing, don't swallow it whole." he said sternly and
Alfred nodded.

My shoulders slummed and I frowned, "A few weeks ago me and my new friend, Molli, wanted to record this song that we'd been writting. We needed a violen and a piano so we 'barrowed' them from the head master, just for the night I swear. We tried renting them from her but she refused, Molli could get us in and out without being seen and I guess I just went along with it..." I looked at the floor, upset that they had made me tell them why "A-Anyways, while in the middle of recording the head master or professer or whatever the he** she was came in and 'checked' my room. She saw the piano and violen and we got busted. D*** did her face turn bright red, she told me to get out, but I finished the year anyways. That stupid witch lowered my A+ grades to all Ds and when I told my mom why she refused to 'fly home a crook' I had no where else to go...I-I'm sorry, I'll leave if you want..." I looked at my wrists and sighed, not meeting any of their eyes.

Alfred almost came to tears hearing Riley's story. What a softie.. Arthur thought, glancing at Alfred. Before he knew what he was doing, the brit crushed Riley with a hug.
"Shh...It's fine Rils, you're always welcome here." Arthur cooed, sounding uncharacteristically sweet. Alfred felt a twinge of jealousy, but then bear hugged both of them.
"Yeah." Alfred said simply. Arthur felt himself begining to blush, at both of their presences so close to him, so he stopped the hug. He pulled Riley's chin up so he could look at her eyes.
"Promise."

I felt a sad smile work it's way on my face as they both hugged me and told me I could stay. I nodded in response and then felt Arthur's fingers on my chin. With a light tug his green, shimmering, eyes were connected with my dull, muddy-brown eyes. I felt a rush of panic, but that was the animal side of me, what the romantic side of me felt was love. But no, I wasn't some love sick sophmore any longer. I was a 21 year old adult, an adult who commited a felony but had good friends. He promised that I was always welcome and I smiled a bit wider "Thanks Arthur...It means a lot" I said, my voice hushed. I looked at Alfred who looked to be on the edge of tears, I gave him as soft smile and then looked out the window agian. Golden rays of sunshine fought the thick layers of clouds, but it was still sunny. I smiled at this and stepped a bit away from bth of them, turning my back and looking out the window "Heh, it's sunny out, I kinda' wanna see the town, wanna go?" I asked turning back to them and smiling lightly.

Arthur smiled, his green eyes shining. He kissed Riley lightly on the cheek, and slung an arm over her shoulder.
"If you really have to, i guess." He said with a shrug. Alfred grinned and looked outside at the sun again. Arthur grabbed his coat, followed by Alfred, and they all walked outside.
"We'll just walk," The brit said, nodding to his neighbor.
"Top 'o the mornin' Arthur ma' laddie," The Scottishman said with a grin, walking over to give Arthur a pat on the back. Arthur smiled smally, and turned to Riley.
"This is my neighbor, Sean." He said, and looked at the red head. Sean tipped his hat to Riley, and winked.

I felt Athur's lips brush my cheek and his gracfull gaze fall on me. I didn't feel worthy to be around such a sweet guy, but where did this sudden burst of affection come from? If I recalled correctly during the year I knew him he was rather...cold. Maybe it was because he just missed home, and now he was just happy to be with his friends and home at the same time. I'd decided that was it when Arthur introduced me to Sean "Hey" I said, my American accent sounding like it didn't belong. It was so weird, not talking like everyone else.

Arthur smiled at Sean, Alfred did aswell.
"Well Sean, we've got to be off now, Cheerio." Arthur called, and began walking down the street. The 18 year old frowned, looking hurt, but sighed.
"G'bye Artie!" He shouted. Arthur frowned, and began to walk faster. Alfred cocked his head in confusion at his friend, but followed along.

Well that was quick I thought, looking at my feet as we walked. "Why do people say 'Cheerio' here? Isn't it a cereal? Why would you say goodbye to someone by saying a cereal? It's ike if I just said 'okay guys I gotta' go Capin' Crunch!' Do you guys even like cheerios? I like Capin' Crunch...Maybe i'll start saying that...Yeah, Capin Crunch!" I grinned as them, and then felt a little chuckle work it's way up my chest/
