This defines Steele. In one scene xD The scene where he fights Balto, and all of his aggression was because Balto was there, and to Steele's knowledge Balto just wanted to take his fame away, he didn't go crazy because someone was trying to save the town. He went crazy because HE wanted to save the town. So he sabotaged Balto and used his wits against him ("I'll show him!"). Again, he didn't go crazy because he wanted to kill everyone in Nome, he went crazy because he had an extreme hatred of Balto.
I don't mention perversion because in the movie, he was just hitting on Jenna, which guys are to do. And hitting on women doesn't qualify men under the "psychopath" category.
Same goes to theft.
In other words, if you want to call Steele a psychopath, you'd have to call other characters psychopaths too. Like Aladdin, Tramp, Flynn Rider, Mewtwo, Batman, Catwoman, every Guardian in Ga-Hoole, any DC hero, etc etc etc etc.
