R?! Awwww, that's too bad. I was wagering on it being PG-13 or something. It can't be THAT scary...(I just jinxed myself.)

If you ever played the silent hill games...alomost everything is bloddy..so i can see the R rating..(prays it plays in the theatre that dosnt chek for ID)

Its R in winnipeg but im not sure if its R where ever you are, but it could change like they did with the RE movies, it said in the previw that the RE movies were R but when they hit the theater they were 18 A and that means you can go with someone who is 18 or older but if its R you and everyone eles has to be 18.

Yes, I saw how the games are created. Bloody, they are. But I don't think it's enough for it to be an R movie. Anyway, I'm gonna see it with my family, so I have nothing to worry about!!



Maybe it's not just the blood, but something else...The graphic depictions perhaps...

Rated R for Strong horror Violence and Gore, Disturbing Images and Some Language. Thats what the website says. Well all i need is an adult anyway and one of my best friends dads wants to see the movie anyhow..either that or just sneak in. Or tell a random person to be my parent.

I also think that there is alot of bad languge if the movie says the f word once its higher then pg, if the violance is really heigh it will move to 18 A but if there is nudity then its an R.

SPLEE!! I've just returned from seeing it!!

First of all, they were right to rate it R. I thought it was just going be a bunch of monsters chasing after a frantic mother looking for her lost child. Buuuut...I was wrong. XD Actually, it was really quite enjoyable in the beginning, but ending was way too chaotic for me. I felt sick to my stomach, I thought I was going to hurl all over the place. I've never known Silent Hill to have so much gore!!!

At 10:15 pm yesterday I wnet and saw the silent hill movie and its my new favorit, iv never seen a better job in my life and anyone who loves the red devil then see it there is lots of parts with him in it, but if you don't like gore don't see it, its the gotrest movie i have ever seen, but its not just gorey its horrifying and the creatures dam do they look so real, so go see it when you have the chance, and here the rating is 14A.

And another thing thats cool is there is a place called silent hill its real.

Hey you saw it suka wicked hey what was your favorit parts? mine were every sean with the red devil but the one where he rips that girl anns skin right off and throughs it at the church wicked and the cop dam shes so hot and so perfect for the roll, but the barb wire bed creature now that was so gorey and so cool same with the nurse part with the flash light so wicked and everything was so well done it was fantastic and its my new favorit horror,gorey and messed up movie now and it was kinda funny.

And to anser your question about playing the game yes I have, iv beetin them so many times and have every ending and all unlockebles so im wanting the next one couse there is nothing more for me to do couse iv done everything in all of them including the whole other senerio where you get to play as maria in her own add to the storyline but to do that you have to have the Xbox verssion of Silent Hill 2 dam I hate it when they do that GRRR!!! LOL

The 'red devil' has a name; it's simply referred to (in the game) as Pyramid Head. But DANG, THAT GREAT KNIFE WAS FLIPPIN' HUUUGE!!! Did you not see it come all the way across the room from pokling holes through the door? SHWEIT!!! And yeah, I came THIS close to fainting after he killed Anna. And I came THIS close to puking at the end.

The First Darkness and the Fourth Darkness were the scariest parts. I think the monsters in the First Darkness are called the "Demon Children" by the horrific screaming and crying sounds they make. I remember the Straightjacket too. It was awesome to see it spurt out that stuff from his chest; just like it does in the game!! My favorite part were the Nurses. It was fun to see them jiggle.

When Alyssa was in the hospital after her burning, she was consumed by hate and her lust for revenge. It consumed her so much to the point where an innocent nurse looking into her spiteful eyes began to cry tears of blood. And so a demon made a deal with Alyssa. That everyone that despised her would pay, and whatever good that was left in her would be personified in a little girl (Or...as Sharron). The little girl (Or...Sharron) was taken to an orphanage where she was adopted by Chris and Rose. Meanwhile, in Silent Hill, the demon and Alyssa bestowed upon the town a terrible Darkness that consumed every person of little faith. It happened every night for 30 years.

The Old Woman in rags was Alyssa's mother. By now, you should know that Alyssa and Sharron look exactly alike (since, on the essence, they are the same person).

The mutilated woman strapped to the bed, and controlled the tentacles of barbed wire is Alyssa. When Rose entered the room at the end of the hall that contained The Demon, she was told (technically) that anyone who enters Silent Hill cannot come out, but it will unite Sharron and Rose under one condition: That she carries the Demon into the church so Alyssa can complete her revenge. Since, Rose knows that she (and yes...Sharron) are dead, she agrees. That's why Chris isn't able to see them; they are only ghosts.

Yeah that part was so funny to see them all jiggle and that great knife part was sooo coool and yes the ending I got but it was also funny too like when she is handcuffed and rose was like now you see whats going one and the says lets go to the tower and she said F**king cop and I was lughing so hard at the way she said it, but the barbwire part at the end so cool and so groos when that happand everyone was like F**k yeah and one guy started claping couse he thought it was over and he was like oh S**t and we all laughed, but for creature the RED Devil is my fave and for people the cop is my fave.

And the song from the 3rd game was the credit song wich was soo cool and the camara angles when she is about to see the baby things was the exact same as the game.

The credit song from the movie is also the triler song for the third game. It's called "You're Not Here". It's a pretty nice song.

Yeah, I was disappointed when the cop died. I liked that coply-sort-of-walk that she does in the movie. YUM!! After they killed her, I just wanted everyone to die -- but not really like that. While I was watching the end, I was all like, "This...is NOT Silent Hill-ish." But there are some funny parts on there. Seeing all the nurses blindly slashing at eachoher was pretty hilarious. The cop handcuffing Rose was funny too.

I was so upset when she died couse shes my favorit non creature charactor but the song they should'v used the ending song from SH 2 called angles thanatos i think is the name but its the best song of all the SH music LOL im watching it agian this is like the 3rd time today that iv watched it.

Yeah, I think either Angel's Thantos would've been a good credits song, but You're Not Here is also a good one. I can listen to how they re-made Promise over and over again!! Did you notice that there was no orginal music in the movie? ALL from the games. HAIL AKIRA YAMAOKA!!!!

What was also scary was when rose the cop were in that little room, hiding from the cockroaches, and they're all, "What's that?" And you can hear Pyramid Head dragging his Great Knife across the floor. If I woke up in the middle of the night to that sound, I'd die.

Anyway, I'm all Silent Hill-ed out. I couldn't bear it to watch it more than once every other month.
