The next morning, a tiny shape laid next to Balto under his blanket, having snuck in during the night and fallen asleep there. It was a little Golden Retriever/Coyote crossbreed.

Phali woke up and the frist thing that caught his attention was the smell of a coyote/dog half breed he got up and found it laying next to balto and nudged it "Well what are you doing here little pup?"

Phali grabbed the pup and set it closer to him "Hey its ok its ok. Our mother is gone and our father. Well he is still alive but not here. Its ok." He said trying to calm the little pup off.

Balto opened his eyes and looked up at phali "Yes?"
"You have a little guest here." Phali said moving aside showing the little half breed pup.
