Okay what is your best solution?

If I may; Let sleeping dogs lie? Seriously. To much of a good thing = overkill. And Balto's tipped the scale of too much of a good thing as it is...

Why not tone it down?

Well, what's the goal of the site exactly? Is it to inform people about Balto? Is it basically a fan creations site? Or is it just all a bunch of drama llamas? XD I'm kidding.

But in all seriousness, just a few years ago this was a very happy community, and for the most part I still think it is, but we really need to think about what we are trying to do to for the people on here. There are more and more sources coming out, which means more responsibility/ work for the web masters and mods, and even the users. What is the goal we are trying so hard to reach? That's the question. And if we find out the answer...all is good. 8)

Just my opinion.

I always thought of it as making a place for the fans to go and chat and feel at home, while spreading the word about Balto [and the rest of the sources].

I don't know what you're referring too, and we're getting off topic anyway.

^ Yes, you can make your own Balto comics. I was just having the same idea myself. You can make a project of it on the site, or in these forums in "Balto Fan Art"

I know plenty of people (myself included) who would not say "just kidding" to the question of whether or not "drama llamas" infest this site. Because they most certainly do. And they, the trolls and the cyberbullies are what bring a great deal of misery and negativity to what is supposed to be solely and exclusively a positive and enjoyable fan experience.

Nothing against you, Imagine. I understand what you are saying. But those "drama llamas" have caused a great deal of misery on here over the years. And they seem to have a knack for escaping anything more than the lightest of reprimands, while those who have to deal with their drama get the lion's share of it. IMHO

Well, the amount of drama has increased, to be sure. But there are still positive things. Animation Source, at its best, can still be a very viable fan experience. Though I agree with many others who have said, in plenty of topics, that maybe the explosion of new sources (especially when they seem to be staffed largely by the same small set of people across the board) is not really necessarily a good thing. Why we need a new source for every cartoon movie (or series) is endlessly perplexing. There has to be a point of critical mass. Just as there has to be a point when more than the same ten or so people can staff those new sources in addition to already staffing the older ones, and the forum. (To all: This is NOT a criticism of the staff overall, or of any specific members. So let's not turn it into something it's not, hmm?)

Will we find the answer? Probably not. Usually asking the question draws a lot of negativity, criticism, and accusations. To where it is implied that the very asking of such questions is something you may not do.

I get what you're saying also. I'm well aware of the highly increased amount of drama infecting this site. I said I was kidding about the actual name "drama llama." Sorry I didn't make that clear, but I 100% agree with you. Trolls are becoming almost too much of a problem to handle, and it has brought a huge negative influence to this fan community. It's becoming harder and harder to hope that this will all go away and we can become the site we used to be once more.

I agree with you too. It's impossible to make a source for everything, as it is impossible to make sure everyone gets what they want. At the rate we are going at now, making new sources will probably never end.

Though, I'll have to admit, some of these sources are good ideas. And it can be helpful in increasing the site's popularity. But we just don't know when we're going to stop, because everyone has opinions on what they like or not.

Thank you for replying to my post :)

Of course, this web wouldn't have everything that everyone would want. But maybe little more freedom? I'm Talking to you mightybalto 1925! You keep bothering me about the rules! Who do you think i am?

Not only was that not necessary, it was provocative. Attacking staff members is not likely to go very well.
