Kevin Bacon really captured Balto's voice. Kevin's awesome. I mean, seriously! His last name is BACON!

That does kinda make sense because his sound gets older.

Kevin Bacon. No question. Kevin Bacon made Balto sound young and cool, whereas Maurice LaMarche made Balto sound old and lazy. I know, Balto was older in the sequels, but they could've at least kept Kevin for Balto 2! Plus...HIS LAST NAME IS BACON! Every dog loves bacon!

Haha, she's got a point, dogs love BACON!ChingChongChi-Neez wrote: Do you guys think Maurice and Kevin sound the same? Um. No. Well. Not completely, Kevin's voice is more calm and cool and Maurice's voice is too Matthew Fox from LOST . Maurice: "Aleu come back!!!" Matthew: "Kate Come back!"ChingChongChi-Neez wrote: Brown Wolf wrote: ChingChongChi-Neez wrote: Do you guys think Maurice and Kevin sound the same? Seriously? Uh, let me think, no they don't. BALTO 1925: "Heh, big paws kinda run i my family, well, at least ,uh, one side of my family..." BALTO 1926: "She looks more like a wolf than I do!"

...and he also voiced Horace in 101 Dalmatians 2...? That's WAY more fitting a character for him than Balto. indeed!

To be honest, I liked both voice actors pretty much equally. Kevin did a better job, I think, but Balto was supposed to sound older in the sequels--he was getting closer to the middle of his life. So for he specifics of the character at the time, Maurice was also okay.
