Regradless of what the director said, ultimately, the fans decide, and not everyone will have Dusty paired with Ralph, or Dusty paired with Kodi. Everyone has a different take, as far as those two male dogs are concerned. Or Dusty can be paired with a fan creation.

Why does everyone think that Kodi should be with Dusty what happen if he end up with another girl.

Everything is up to fan fiction that's true, but I still laugh at people who desperately seach any sign of their love in the movie or convince that that they pair them up because Ralph is fat and they look cute together, completely ignoring which is the canon pairing.

Seems to me the K&D fans aren't the ones who argue simply for pleasure. You'd never make a decent living the way you do it.

As for the suggestion of Kodi being with another girl, I could see that working alright. It would be especially good if written by someone from a family where Dad's away a lot with the military or another noble cause. Not that I'm saying trips to deliver mail are nearly on par with that, but in the environment these characters come out of, there is some room to draw a parallel.

Seriously people.. who freaking cares?? They're dogs.. they can have tons of partners in one lifetime. Who says they even NEED partners.. why can't they just be single? Yeah, I prefer Dusty with Ralph because I find him adorable and much more lovable than Mr. Boring, but this arguing over stupid dog couples is just silly. What's the point? Is it ever going to get anywhere?

Some people like Dusty with Ralph, some people like Dusty with Kodi, some people like Dusty with Boris.. what does it freaking matter? It's such a useless thing to constantly argue about.
