"Right," Sorren giggled as she pranced at his side. "To the beach."

Down at the beach Rango ran through the water, splashing around. He laughed, and jumped on Sorren, playfully.
"You it!!" He barked, prancing around through the waves.

"Oh am i?" Sorren laughed and took off after the shepherd, splashing through the water excitedly. "Ahha!" she shouted as she tackled him.

Rango fell, and laughed, as he was tackled.
"Ah!!" He said, rolling onto his back, nipping at her face.
"Sorren... I-ummm.... I like you, a - alot." he said, blushing. Before Rango could continue, he heard a howl from the distance. Ivan. he thought. Annoyed he stood, and shook out his fur.
"Sorren, im so sorry, i gotta go." he said, running off.

He likes me? Sorren opened her mouth to reply, but stopped hearing the howl. "Oh.." she sat up, watching Rango get up to leave. "Okay....see you..later i guess." She watched him run off before she turned to pad back into town.

Rango growled at Ivan as he walked up.
"WHY!?" he said, storming, off, leaving Ivan behind.

The next dayyy....

Rango yawned, and walked down to the beach. Being still early in the morning, it was dark. Rango sighed, remembering the previous night, and he watched the sun rise.

Sorren crept out of the empty boiler room that morning, yawning as she stepped into the open air. She began her daily walk through town.

Rango sighed, the beauty of the sun reminding him of Sorren.
"Whelp, time to go find 'er," He said trotting back into town.

Sorren found herself sitting near the sled team, she didn't notice the snicker from a tan wheel dog.
"Heya wolf," the dog sneered. "Why don't you get outta town while you still can." When Sorren didn't reply he continued. "A human's gonna get hold of you one day. Just you watch."
The dog was jolted forward as the team took off, Sorren didn't even glance in the direction of the dog.

Rango walked up from behind and tilted his head.
"What was that about? Was he teasing you? That sorry little..." Rango rumbled, his instincts to kill the dog were raging, but he kept his cool and sat down beside Sorren.

Sorren looked up at him. "Maybe he was..i don't care though. I'm used to it." She shrugged. "It just comes with being part wolf."

Rango growled lightly, and sighed.
"It shouldn't have to. It's not fair, being half wolf makes you more, you know, unique." Rango complimented, nuzzling Sorren.

Sorren blushed slightly as he nuzzled her. "They can say what they want," she said. "It doesn't bother me really. I just ignore them all."

Rango sighed, thinking softly outloud.
"That's my girl..." He liked the sound, but he didn't know if it was true or not. He just smiled and looked at the sky.

Sorren smiled slightly and looked up at the sky, watching birds flutter above them. "The sky's pretty huh?" she tilted her head. "There's always something going on up there."
