Layla nodded, sniffing. She wiped a hand across her eyes, gladly accepted his embrace. "Thank you, Jamie," she murmured. "I don't know what I'd do if you weren't here." She really didn't, either. If he hadn't come when he did, Layla probably would've had a mental breakdown. As it was, she was worried sick about the fact she could be discovered at any time.

She looked up. "Do you think we should tell Naomi and Karley? I mean, I would trust them with my life too. I don't want to keep secrets, but..." She left the sentence hanging. She didn't really want to repeat the consequence again.

Jamie looked down at her as he backed away a bit to look her in the eye. "I..." he began to say, but he looked away and bit his lip again, then looked back at her and relaxed. "I think that's something you need to decide for yourself. I can't tell you what to do in a situation like this." And he knew it. He could only imagine what Layla was feeling right now, and he couldn't tell her what he thought was right. Right now, he was just there to help her through this. "If you want to tell them, then I think they're trustworthy enough to keep it quiet. But it's really your choice." He looked straight into her eyes, so she knew he wasn't lying. "Just know that nobody will hear anything from me."

"I know," Layla murmured softly in reply. "And I'll tell them when I see them, I guess. This isn't something to do over the phone. It needs to be said face to face."

...I don't know. Tadie and Polar are the two that haven't posted. I'll PM them, but if they don't post soon, I guess we can just continue. I won't let this go dead just because people refuse to post.

Karley slowly walked around the town in which she lived, her short-long brown hair with blond streaks blowing slightly in the wind. Her black converse shoes forced her to trip because of an untied shoe lace, and she quickly tied it before standing up again, and continued walking. Her green eyes were kept on the gray-cement sidewalk, no intention of looking at her surroundings. She had walked this path many times before, and she would many times after this. She wore dark blue skinny jeans, and a light blue aeropostle sweater, because of the slight chill in the breeze. She paced past Layla's house, and noticed a large crowd of angry men on the door step, screaming "GOOSE-BOY!" The 14 year old girl was most confused, and slowly approached them.

Layla looked and saw someone out the window, walking towards all of the bullies that still lingered. Wait...was that Karley? "I think I see Karley," she said, pulling herself away from Jamie reluctantly. She opened the door a crack, peeking her face out.

"Karley?" she called. "You wanna come inside?"
