Personality: Honaw has a very caring personality, and he's always there for his friends. Whenever there is trouble, Honaw is always there within a moment's notice. He cares about every creature, no matter what species they are. He also likes helping the less fortunate. Honaw is strongly trusted by his friends and loved ones, and enjoys making the best moments last. Honaw gets very stubborn at times, but he has a very tender and forgiving heart. He has a soft-spot for babies.
History: Honaw was born in a small den near the town of Nome. His parents loved him very much, and took care of him very well. Honaw's father was a great dad, so supportive. He would always play and wrestle with his daddy whenever he arrived home from a long day of hunting. Honaw's mother was a very sweet soul. She cared a lot about Honaw, and made sure nothing bad happened to him.
When Honaw grew a little older, his curiousity grew as well. His mother and father grew more strict with him, but they loved him just the same. But Honaw couldn't see that. Everytime Honaw went a little overboard with his naughty behavior, he would be scolded, and because of his stubborness issues, Honaw would often get into fights, and rebel against his parents.
When his parents were out hunting one day, Honaw was just outside the den, fooling around as usual. He suddenly heard a loud gunshot, coming from the hunting grounds. Then another gunshot filled the air. Honaw went to investigate, not suspecting a thing. When he arrived at the scene, the young bear saw a horrible sight... Honaw's parents were killed by a hunter!
Terrified, Honaw ran back to the den, and hid. That night, the little bear set out, in search of a new home. He searched every single little hole, den, and log in the area. After many long hours of searching, Honaw collapsed, cold and hungry. When he woke up, he was surrounded by many strange faces. They were wolves! Honaw was just a little smaller than them, but yet, he was not scared. The pack alphas welcomed him into their home, and the young bear had found a new home! He was now a part of a wolf pack!
As Honaw grew bigger and bigger, he became more of a handfull. He didn't need guidance anymore, and he would catch bigger game for the pack to share. Everyone thrived with Honaw in the pack, and they had a strong member, who would always keep them safe from danger. Rival wolf packs were no longer much of a concern, and hunting big game, was also easier, thanks to Honaw. He would always be trusted with watching after the wolf pups. The pups would always love playing with Honaw, pulling his big ears, and pulling whatever he had of a tail. Everyone respected him, and was his friend... except for the evil wolf name Fang. He was not a friendly soul... Fang had many enemies, yet his mate Bluemoon saw something more under his hideous personality. Honaw would constantly get into arguments with Fang, and sometimes even fights when Fang's big mouth went over the limit.
When Honaw and the hunting wolves were out searching for prey, Honaw found something that would change his life forever... a young female bear was among the leaves, half dead from a hunter's trap! The pack took the female back to wolf den, where they took care of her wounds and fed her. She recovered, and when she was strong enough to talk, she told them her name was "Kanya". "It means Beautiful ebony", she told them.
Having another bear in the pack seemed to make Kanya feel more secure and welcome. With Honaw by her side, she recovered more quickly. Kanya and Honaw fell for eachother, and became the best of friends. Later, they became mates! Both the bears are mates, and when spring comes, they may have cubs of their own!
Other: Oh, I LOVE his design, his history, everything about him! I'd absolutely LOVE to make him my character, and I'm definately going to use him alot! I'd also like to feature him in the movie I am making of my pack! ^ ^
